In case you hadn't heard, EA is remaking the 2008 horror masterpiece 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dead Space. The remade game was just announced at last week's EA Play presentation with a one-minute trailer that confirms long-standing rumors of Dead Space coming back from the ♛d♛ead.
EA Motive will be making the reborn Dead Space, the same folks that gave us Star Wars: Squadrons and Star Wars Battlefront II. However, this will be Motive's first sci-fi horror game, so to get a sense for how Dead Space might look on modern hardware, Motive contracted out to the original game's UX director Dino Ignacio.
"Back in January, I was invited to help guide the developers remaking a game I worked on 13 years ago," soon after the EA Play announcement. "It’s been such a privilege to con💖sult and advise the EA Motive team on a franchise I hold near and dear ෴to my heart. Congrats to the whole team!"
EA had long been rumored to be working on a Dead Space remake, and now that we've got an official announcement we know a few additional details on the game. Expect an "improved story, characters," and "gameplay mechanics" from the remake, with GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb even calling it both a remake and a reboot of the franchise.
One thing you shouldn't expect from Dead Space is microtransactions. “We're looking at what can be taken and reinjected into the first game from a future standpoint," 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:s♋aid EA Motive senior producer Phil Ducharme. "We're also learning from mistakes such as microtransactions, which we will not have, for instance, in our game.”
Both fans and the original creator of Dead Space 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:reacted positively to the news of the remake. It’s still too early to tell when we might see more of Dead Space, but given the game is being ൲made for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, it might be a while yet.
