Valve's unreleased MOBA Deadlock has been around for about a year now, and still maintains an impressive average of 10,000 concurrent players. You still need🌟 a player to send you an ♐invitation to play, but that shouldn't be much trouble at this stage.
Valve has been slow and steady in updating Deadlock, which is par for the course for the company. Somewheܫre along the wa♎y, a rumour began to spread around the community that Valve was preparing to release a patch this week (nice spot, ). There are about a supposed imminent patch, but that patch never arrived.
The Patch That Never Was
A developer named Yoshi poste💦d a comment in Deadlock's official Discord server, denying claims that a patch is on the way.
"We are seeing the community get really hyped up for an imminent update," Yoshi writes. "But we wanted to let you know ♍the update won't be coming for some time still."
"The entire team is focused on the update, it has a lot of new content and we꧒ are very excited to get it out but it isn't ready yet. We know this will be disappointing news to some, we'll let you know when it's very close and are able to predict the date."
I🤡n other words, the patch isn't going to be a surprise update as many players expected. However, according to Yoshi, there will be nerfs for Shiv on the way soon, as Valve continues to balance the early-access game.
People are speculating that was actually joking, which goes to show how fast false information can spread around a communitꦿy. Though players are sure to be disappointed, we can take solace in t♔he fact that Shiv is getting a nerf.
The most notable change to Deadlock since external playtesting began is the removal of෴ the four𒆙th lane, which happened as part of a big update in February.
Deadlock doesn't ജcurrently have a release date, and Valve doesn'꧙t appear to be rushing towards a full release.
