The 8-bit-style zombie shooter roguelite Deadly Days is se😼eing a release for the Nintendo Switch sometime this 🌠summer.

Since its release to PC last year, Deadly Days has developed a steady following. Fans are drawn to the simplistic style, building mechanics, survival cඣhallenges, and most importantly : the raw zombie shooting action.

According to , the developers have decided to release the game on the Nintendo Switch. It’ll be a port, meꦿaning all of the same content, gameplay, and features will be preserved for the handheld. While an official date hasn’t been announced the developers have promised it will be summer 2020, meaning at worst fans will have to wait to the end of July, a mere month away.

Even more encouraging for fans is the fact that 🃏the developers have vowed to continue enhancing and improving the game for the PC. In fact, a fairly large update was released that introduced a whole bunch of new content. Players now have access to new characters, additional powers, a host of powerful weapons, new rooms, and a variety of other items.

Perhaps most interesting is the Hardware Store mission. In this strategy-based mode players are tasked with salvaging and utilizing a random assortments of weapons💝 to protect humans from a horde of zombies.

It’s unclear if the Nintendo Switch version of the game will include this update, though it’d be hard to imagine the developers wouldn’t include the additions on release. There is some question on how well the integrated Twitch functionality, namely giving viewers the ability to dictate which missions are taken on, will work with the Switch. Aside from this possible technical hurdle, the game should include everything fans enjoyed in the PC version.

In a short time play𒉰ers will be able to cut, smash, and blast the undead hordes into tiny pixelated chunks.
