The Eastern Region, which is explored primarily throughout the game's prologue and first two episodes, is home to nine Memory Chips. Given the incredible size and scope of Death Stranding's Central Region, it's best to split its Memory Chip listings in two. This section contains every Memory Chip on the eastern side of the Central Region, the side with Lake Knot City. There are 28 Memory Chips here.

Fright Night	At the onset of a rocky 🌃outcropping just south ⭕of the massive crater visible on the map.
Matango	East of the Distr෴ibution ꦅCenter that is situated to the south of Lake Knot City.
The Bridge on the River Kwai	Find the broken bridge west of Mama's Lab. Search the bridge's eastern half.
Eggshell Carving	Inside a tent at the MULE Camp to Lake Knot City's direct south.
Glasscraft	Roughly midway or so between the Craftsman and Engine𒉰er shelt🌜ers.
Coffee Cup	North and slightly east of Timefall Farm, you'll find another MULE Camp. This Memory Chip is on top of a red-tinted carpet at that location.
Soap Bubble	Atop the roof of Timefall Farm.
Pottery	Find the sizable tower to the south of Mama's Lab.
Reverse Trike: "Ride" Type	Search just outside aꦜ cave close to the massive waterfall.
Honda NSR250R	At the MULE Camp between Lake Knot City and the Distribution C🦂enter to its south.
Honda Rebel 500	Inside the wꦿarehouse in t🅺he MULE Camp outskirts north of Timefall Farm.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber	Inside a tent at the MULE Camp south of Lake Knot City's southern Distribution Center.

Fused Silica	Southwest of the Paleontologist Shelter, beneath the water. Must read the email "Much Respect to Porters Everywhere!" email for it to spawn,꧑ which requires leveling the Paleontologist Shelter to five stars.

The portion of the Western Region that Sam traverses is small enough to make even the Eastern Region seem gargantuan by comparison. There are only three Memory Chips to pilfer.
