If you’ve been on the internet lately, you’ve probably noticed that nobody can stop talking about Deathloop. Arkane’s genre-mashing smorgasbord of a game has been getting 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rave reviews by almost e🍬veryone, and has quickly become a GOTY contender. While there are barely any complaints about the game itself, players on PC have unfortunately been facing performance and stuttering related issues.
Early theories suggested that these problems were being caused by the game’s Denuvo anti-piracy feature, however that doesn’t seem to actually be the problem. As spotted by , Alexander Battaglia of Digital Fo🦄undry tested out the PC version and made some observations. “There is no direct evidence at the moment in all my testing that there is microstuttering/that denuvo is at fault for anything,” Battaglia. “There is a﷽n issue though with something that looks like stutters though, but is not actually performance related.”
IGN also noted that PC gaming website, , conducted its own tests on the game and came out with a similar co⛦nclusion which said, "the stutters of Deathloop are somehow tied to the frame rate. 🔴Frame rates between 60-90fps have a stuttery feeling/movement. At 120fps, things are way smoother. These issues have nothing to do with Frame Rate Limiters or Refresh Rates."
Severely videos have also surfaced, showing that Deathloop starts stuttering while using a mouse, but runs relatively smoothly when played via a controller. I plugged in my mouse to test this o▨ut for myself and found that the stuttering issues were way more than when using a controller.
Arcane did release a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:patch for the PC version a few days back, but it wasn’t to address the stuttering issue. According to the patch notes, the update will give more descriptive er🐟ror messages for PC players that happen to be facing crashing issues. It also fixed the issues where certain achievements were not getting unlocked for players.
“We also continue to investigate reports involving “stuttering” on PC. We are exploring causes and potential fixes ღand will update you with more information when it beco🍸mes available. We appreciate your patience,” concluded the relatively brief patch notes. There has been no word yet on when we’ll see the PC performance patch for the game.
