In any competitive shooter, milliseconds count. Back in the day, it used to be a matter of internet speeds, but with modern high-speed int🌄ernet, competitive♍ gamers are finding that it can be their systems themselves that are holding them back.
To fight system latency, Nvidia has come up with a solution it calls Nvidia Reflex. This new technology ꦗreduces the on-screen render queue, making your CPU and GPU sync up perfectly. 𝕴It also reduces CPY backpressure, allowing it to register mouse inputs at the last possible moment before a new frame is rendered.
To get Reflex to work, all you need is a relatively recent Nvidia GPU (900-series or newer), a Reflex compatible mouse, and a monitor that has G-sync. Reflex is already available on 20 games, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:including Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Valorant, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch, witౠh to🍷ns of compatible mic from Razer, LG, and Asus.
Today, Nvidia has announced two new games, four new mice, and one new monito🌄r have been added to the Reflex team.
First up is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Splitgate, the Halo-meets-Portal arena shooter that has been taking the competitive esports scene by storm. The game recently secured 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:$100 million in funding to help build up its player base and topped the fr𓃲ee-to-play PlayStation Store charts last ⛎month.
“We’re very excited to add NVIDIA Reflex to Splitgate where high-speed, multi-dimensional action is constant in each match,&quo💧t; said Ian Proulx, CEO of Splitgate developer 1047 Games. "With a 50% reduction in system latency players will feel the difference immediately."
Nvidia po🉐sted a chart that showed just a few milliseconds were gained on an RTX 3060, but a GTX 1660 Super reduced its system latency by half.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Deathloop will receive a similar reduction in its latency on the GTX 1660. Although the game isn't quite as esports-focused as Splitgate, it still includes a PvP mode where Reflex can be helpful to players. Both games will receive their Reflex updates later this month.
As for the hardware, Nvidia added three Roccat mice, the HyperX Pulsefire mouse, and the ASUS ROG Swift PG279QM 240Hz, 1440p monitor to its list of compatible devices. For the full list of supported hardware, head over to Nvidia's site .
