Cryptozic Entertainment's DC Deck-Building Games are based upon their Cerberus Engine, a set of game mechanics for deck building games. In addition to their 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:DC Universe games, the engine has powered the likes of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Steven Universe: Beach-a-Palooza, Epic Spell Wars, and many other games in their current catalog. It follows a similar trend to Fantasy Flight Games’ Living Card Games, by providing the core box and expansions with a fixed set of cards that players can use to build out their deck for play. This differs from the blind starter decks and booster packs we see in other card games like Pokémon and Magic: the Gathering.

The latest DC Deck-Bui🌸lding🌞 Game is a cooperative affair for between two and five players. Participants join the Justice League in taking on one of the Super-Villains, rescuing their comrades as they go. Players are then able to recruit these heroes to fight by their sides as they work up to defeat the Batman Who Laughs.

The artwork takes its cues right from the comic books. There are 20 foil cards included with the subtype 'metal' that award bonuses to other cards if they are in your deck. But watch out for weakness♍ cards, as too many of these in your deck at the end of the game will reduce your victory points. In total 202🐻 game cards are included with 11 oversize promotional cards. An additional oversize promotional card of DC Super-Villain Deathstroke is included during the 1st printing run only.

Dark Nights: Metal is based on the DC Comics series of the same name that sees Batman and The Justice League take on Barbatos - The Batman Who Laughs, a ruthless and somewhat maniacal villainous version of Batman from Earth-22. He is characterized as a cross between Bruce Wayne and The ♏Joker in the comics, and is capable of unspeakable ac𒀰ts. He took over Earth-22, his home planet/universe, killing off all who stood way - friend or foe.

The DC Deck-Building Game Dark Nights: Metal is priced at $40 and is available to buy onlinꦰe direct from Cryptozoic or from your local independent game stores.
