10 ൩ Corrective Measure 🍸

Machine Guns might not be in the best spot currently, but Corrective Measure has such a unique perk pool that it's worth chasing. If you love using Machine Guns for add-clear, yoᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚu're going to love this gun. Corrective Measure is one of the only Machine Guns that can roll with Subsistence, automatically 𓂃reloading a portion of your magazine on a kill. You can pair this with One for All for a massive damage boost. Alternatively, you can use Firefly, allowing this weapon to deal both Void and Solar damage.

Paired with Volatile Rounds from Void 3.0, this weapon is nothing short of absurd. Keep an eye out for a good roll of th🐼is gun.

9 Insidious
How to obtain: Vow of the Disciple raid.
Insidious is one of the best Pulse Rifles in Destiny 2. This weapon is one of two non-sunset Aggressive Frame Pulse Rifles, meaning it fires four bullets per shot instead of three. It has great base stats, respectable TTK values in PvP, an🐻d it has a fan-favorite perk combination we haven't seen since Black Armꦍory.
That combination is Dragonfly and a damage perk (Rampage or One for All). A precision final blow will cause the target to explode, damaging nearby targets. If Dragonfly damages three enemies, it procs One for All. And since One for🐠 All bumps your weapon's damage output, it also increases the damage of your Dragonfly explosions, leading to some fantastic add clear in non-pinnacle content.
As for PvP, it's one of the few Pulse Rifles that can get Rapid Hit. A single burst ♒can get you to x4, leading to virtually no recoil for your next burst. Paired with Rampage or Adrenaline Junkie, this weapon becomes a sheer powerhouse—provided you can get used to the weapon'🐻s bulky scope.

8 𝓰 Found Verdict 💞
How to obtain: Vault of Glass (Conflux, Oracle, a♎nd Gatekee🍃per encounters)
Pellet Shotguns have seen some serious nerfs throughout Year 4, making Slug Shotgunꦓs and Fusion Rifles more desirable for PvP. Found Verdict is one of the few Shot🔜guns that has survived these nerfs. Obtained from the Vault of Glass, this Shotgun has a fantastic stat package and a great selection of perks.
You'll want a roll that has Full Choke, enhanced range, and Opening Shot. The first column perk is up to preference, although we recommend Surplus or Auto-Loading Holster for general PvP use. With the right roll and the Timelost variant, Found Verdict becomes the spiritual successor to Felwinter's Lie with far more handling. For PvE, a roll with Rewind Rounds and Vorpal Weapon is great for killing tough𝕴 Majors, although slow ROF Shotguns are somewhat lacking in the current PvE meta. But if you love PvP, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better Aggressive Frame Shotgun than this.

7 ꦇ Vex Mythoclast
How to obtain: Vault of Glass raid.
The first-ever Exotic raid weapon in the Destiny franchise is back, and it's arguably better than when it first debuted. is effectively an Auto Rifle that's c🧸lassified as a Fusion Rifle. It deals excellent damage per shot, has an alt-fire that releases powerful Linear Fusion Rifle shots, and it has infinite ammo.
What makes Vex Mythoclast worth the Exotic slot is the fact it's a Fusion Rifle, allowing it to proc mods like Quick Charge. Get a double kill, then enjoy a 20% damage bonus from High-Energy Fire. Titans c๊an push this weapon even further wit💎h Path of Burning Steps, granting this weapon a 35% damage bonus. Throw on Font of Might in PvE, and you've got one of the strongest Primaries in Destiny 2.
6 Heritage
How to obtain: Deep Stone Crypt raid🏅 (Atraks-1 and Descent enco🐈unters)
Heritage fills a similar niche that Chape♍rone does but without requiring an Exotic slot. This weapon is a Precision Frame Shotgun that has an absurd amount of range, capable of one-tapping Guardia✨ns to the head at 11 meters with the right perks.
Killing Wind and Slideshot gives this weapon nearly 12 meters of range when both perks are active, outranging nearly every other Legendary Shotgun in the game. Bet☂ter yet, Heritage's excellent handling and sights make landing headshots a breeze. For PvE, it also serves as a great compliment to First In, Last Out since it can roll with Reconstruction and Recombination. This gun is a must for damaging Taniks in the Deep Stone Crypt raid, which is where t💛his weapon drops from.

5 Divinity
How to obtain: Garden of Salvat𝔉ion raid (requires the Divine Fragmentation qౠuest)
With the removal of stacking buffs and debuffs introduced in Shadowkeep, 𝔉maintaining debuffs on high-priority targets is near-essential for Destiny 2's Grandmaster Nightfalls and raids.
Those who wish to use something besides Sunbreaker Titans or Nightstalker Hunters should obtain Divinity. This Exotic Trace Rifle sacrifices raw damage output for utility. While Divinity is damaging a target, they will take increased damage atop of precision damage from any source. You can apply this debuff safely from cover while teammates strike the target with high-ওdamage weapons. While it might be that culminates into a tough challenge in the Garden of Salvation raid, the reward is more than worth the trouble it puts you through.
4 Deliverance 🔯
How to obtain: Vow of the Disciple raid.
Destiny 2 finally has a Legendary Fusion Rifle that resides in the Kinetic slot. Named Deliverance, this Precision Frame Fusion Rifle deals Stasis damage. This allows you to use this Fusion Rifle in PvP alongside an Energy Primary like Palindrome. That alone gives this weapon immense value 🌄in PvP, yet its perks make Deliverance a devastating pick in PvE.
The most notable perk on Deliv♚erance is Chill Clip, causing all Fusion Rifle bolts to inflict Stasis Slow when your magazine is over half. And just like Headstone, this synergizes with Stasis Aspects and Fragments. If you don't like playing Stasis, you can instead get a roll with Successful Warm-Up to make Deliverance fire as quickly as most Rapid-Fire Frames. It has unmatched synergy with Stasis, can deal with adds and majors alike, and it's the only Legendary Fusion Rifle that goes in the Kinetic slot. Deliverance is nothing short of an S-tier weapon.

How to obtain: Vow of the Disciple raid.
Salvager's Salvo has a new💫 replacement. Forbearance is a Wave Frame Grenade Launcher that deals Arc damage, a first for Destiny 2's sandbox. The fact it's a Wave Frame makes it incredibly strong in PvE, yet it's this weapon's perk pool that makes Forbearance such a powerhouse.
The most notable aspect of this weapon is its ability to roll Chain Reaction. That's right, this is the first Wave Frame GL that can get Chain Reaction𝓰 in Destiny 2, and the add-clearing results are what you'd expect. You can pair this with Ambitious Assassin to make the best add-clearing Special in Destiny 2. If you don't like Chain Reaction, Unrelenting and Golden Tricorn is a devastating combination that makes you nigh-unkillable while giving this weapon a 50% damage buff. Forbearance is the ultimate add-clearing Special weapon for PvE.

Surprisingly, Succession is a phenomenal PvE Sniper Rifle as well. Reconstruction and Vorpal Weapon make for an excellent combination in Nightfalls and Master Lost Sectors. Guardians that want a good PvE sniper will have a hard time fi﷽nder a better alternative.

In PvE, Fatebringer is nothing short of a powerhouse. This weapon's ability to roll with Explosive Payload and Firefly makes Fatebringer an add-clearing machine. One headshot will clear out an entire group of enemies, and the Explosive Payload rounds will help you stagger tougher foes. You can also obtain a roll with Osmosis, giving this weapon some incredible versatility in Match Game activities and for Elemental Well builds. It also means Fatebringer can get Volatile Rounds. Let that sink in.
