168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2’s gun meta is a topic of constant change. Buffs and debuffs to weapon archetypes and their associated mods, not to mention seasonal mods switching up your playstyle every three or so months, can make it difficult to know what weapons are best used where. T🔯his is even further divided by the fact that some weapons are better in PvE than they are in PvP.
For PvE activities (Player Vs. Environment) such as strikes, battlegrounds, nightfalls, raids, and even most of Gambit, there are some weapon archetypes that seem to shine no matter what th💎e meta may be. Seas😼onal mods will come and go, increasing some archetypes more than others, but generally these are the best evergreen weapon archetypes to choose from.
10 ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ 🉐 Auto Rifles
A𒈔n often overlooked gun archetype in the past,❀ auto rifles have been getting more attention recently. Not because they received a crazy buff, though that has happened in the past, but because they are a really solid all-round weapon of choice.
The faster firing 600 and 720 rounds-per-minute auto rifles are great for add clear, shredding through red bar enemies with their larger magazine sizes. Meanwhile, the slower firing 360 rpm autos really chunk down enemy health bars, and are great primar📖y weapons for orange health𝔍 bar enemies.
9 ꧑ Pulse Rifles ꧋
Similar to auto rifles, pulse rifles are an excellent primary weapon for PvE content, especially if you enjoy a little bit more range. If you like faster firing weapons, few weapons feel as fast as ꧃540 rpm pulses, which still do a fair amount of damage to red and orange health bar enemies.
The slower firing, harﷺder hitting 390 rpm pulses really shine in PvE content, though. While it varies from weapon to weapon, generally 390s have good damage, while having laꦐrge enough magazine sizes to keep you from needing to reload every other kill.
8 𝐆Rocket Launchers
Area of effect weapons always shine in PvE content due to their ability to take out large groups of enemies easily. Rocket launchers are no exception, offering the biggest explosions capable of any weapon. Tಞhey also excel greatly at single target damage, making them an excellent choice for boss encounters.
Rpm for rocket launchers doesn’t really matter too much. They take a long time to reload regardless. Instead, launchers with tracking, blast radius increase,ꦉ or magazine size perks are going to shine𒁃 brighter than those without.
7 💎 Linearꦬ Fusion Rifles
This is an archetype generally ignored until Season of the Lost’s seasonal mods gave players an excuse to use it again. Linear fusions are excellent orange and yellow health bar clearers, but🐓 rely on you landing precision shots to get the most out of them.
This archetype’s perk pool is ꦜfilled with ways to increase damage, as well as encourage landing precision hits and final blows. Rpm doesn’t really matter, as all non-exotic linear fusion rifles are 533 rpm, and generally have a decent magazine size of five or six. This is an excellent all-round heavy weapon to use in PvE content, or special weapons if you have one❀ of the three linear fusion rifle exotics.
6 Sub൩machine Guns
SMGs are one of the best primary weapon archetypes in the game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:especially for PvE content. Submachine guns give you the fast firing capabilities of an auto rifle, but increase the damage output slightly. The trade off, however, is the rang🍃e fall off is pretty bad across the board.
Faster firing submachine guns, like 750 or 900 rpms, are typically going to outshine the lower 600 rpm options. Their perk pools encourage what submachine guns do best; mowing down red bar enemies. If you feel comfortable using 600 rpm guns, then you may find mo🧜re use out of the auไto rifle archetype.
5 ✅Fusion Rifles
Imagine a shotgun. High, burst damage, great for add clear and target focus. Now give that shotgun a range of about 25-30 feet. You have yourself a fusion rifle. Regardless of charge rate, fusion rifles are a really solid archetype for special weapons. Their ability⛦ to shoot several projectiles at a time in a burst allows for the potential🐷 for you to hit multiple enemies, while their perk pool makes them absolutely killer for boss and orange health bar enemy damage.
You also won’t have to worry about precision damage with fusions💙, but might have to get accustomed to charging up a shot before firing. Lower charge time fusions, or ones with the backup plan perk, will ease that acꦰclimation greatly.
4 Swords
Swords are one of the most unique weapon archetypes in Destiny 2, and one of the most iconic. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Swords give you great opportunities for both red bar add clear, as well as boss damage, making them great for many strike and raid boss encounters. As long a⛎s you can get close.
Swords are incredible, and never have to be reloaded. A lot of⭕ tဣheir power comes from their perk pool, so keep an eye out for swords with the whirlwind guard or vorpal weapon perks for boss damage, and practice the light/heavy attack combos to get the most out of this incredible archetype.
3 🅘 Grenade Launchers ꦬ
These weapons include all the benefits of a rocket launcher, but with a much larger magazine size and faster fไiring rate. Like with rocket launchers, grenade launchers shine in a🍨dd clear with increased area of effect size and damage. However, you’ll need to get accustomed to the projectile arch if you hope to be effective.
Additionally, breech-loading grenade launchers are special weap🃏ons that fire one shot at a time, though reload fairly quickly. These are excellent for orange and yellow health bar enemies, but often don&rs💖quo;t have the blast radius to take care of red bar adds. Of course, a wave-frame grenade launcher can solve that issue by blasting a line of damage forward from where the grenade hits rather than causing an explosion.
2 𓂃 Sniper R🐬ifles
Precision is key with Sniper Rifles. If you have trouble landing critical hits, the fusion rifle may be a more beneficial archetype. However, if you can land them, sniper rifles are one of the best special weapon archetypes in the game, even withou🍃t mu🔯ch use against red bar enemies.
For PvE, rpm doesn’t matter too much, though faster firing sniper rifles will tend to have higher magazine sizes. What makes a difference in this archetype is sustained fire, so keep an eye out for perks that allow you to sh🃏oot longer before needing to reload, like triple tap or fourth times the charm. Damage perks like vorpal weapon or firmly planted are excellent as well.
1 ♋ Hand Cannons 🥃
Destiny 2’s bread and butter. Depending on who you ask, hand cannons have always been at the top of the primary weapon archetypes, even in the first Destiny. These weapons feel great to shoot, and have a🃏 fantastic perk pool that gives them utility against both red and orange bar enemies.
Generally, 140 rpm hand cannons are the primary choice in this archetype. However, for faster firing, and more mag🔯azine size, 180 rpm hand ca🍒nnons have some interesting perks that make them an excellent choice for more add clear focused shooting, while 120s offer solid, heavy hitting damage that’s more useful against orange and yellow health bar enemies.
