Planets have been removed, Mods have seen a few changes, and the UI has seen a few changes. Combined with the radical shifts the Stasis Subclasses make to the game, there are a few things you should know before landing on Europa's icy surface. 10 The Destiny Content Vault ꦗ
The very first thing you'll notice upon starting up Destiny 2 is how much smaller the Director looks. Some loot icons will also have their colors inverted with a black icon surrounded by a whit𒊎e background.
This is due to the Destiny 💃Content Vault, otherwise known as the DCV. Year 1 content and all gear tied to Shadowkeep and before have been "sunset" from the game. Io, Mars, Mercury, and Titan have been completely removed from the game. Any loot associated with Shadowkeep and previous years are now infusible up to a cap of 1060, meaning they will be suboptimal in Be🔜yond Light activities and beyond. Titles tied to vaulted activities are now unobtainable.
9 𒅌 Exotic And Quest Kiosks ꦕ
To help bridge the gap between new and veteran players, Bungie has o൩verhauleౠd parts of the new player experience. One of these aspects is two new kiosks available in the Tower.
Near the Tower's Vault is the Monument to Lost Lights, a kiosk that lets players purchase older Exotics and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pinnacle weapons that rely on depreciated quests. Exotics can be purchased with an Ascendant Shard, an Exotic Cipher, and some planetary materials. Exotic raid gear also requires a new resource named the Spoils of Conquest, which can be𓆏 earned by completing raid encounters.
Those that misse൩d some of Destiny 2's quests can now obtain them fr🐟om the Quest Archive kiosk beside the Postmaster. This kiosk will let players start up any non-vaulted quest in the game such as the Forsaken campaign, the New Light quest in the Cosmodrome, and any Exotic quests you missed.
8 Mod Changes ꦐ
Armor Mods have seen some changes in Beyond Light that 168澳🌠洲幸运5开奖网:n꧑early every player will be able to benefit from. For starters, all weapon-specific Mods such as Shotgun Scavengers and Hand Cannon Targeting perks are now elemental-agnostic, meaning they can be applied to any elemental affinity. Seasonal Mods, now known as Combat Mods, stil🍸l have elemental affinities associated with them.
Secondly, armor Mods have also seen their Enhanced versions become the standard. Older, less powerful armor Mods and generalist Mods like Precision Targeting have been removed from the game. To compensate for this rather large increase in power, most armor Mods have seen an increase in energy cost by one or two points. Smaller stat-bဣoosting Mods have also been added that grant +5 to a particular stat for half the energy cost.
😼As for other Mod-related changes, raid Mods now have their own dedicated slot that will be a♑vailable on any raid gear obtained in Season of the Hunt and beyond. Some Mod categories have also switched places. Dexterity Mods, for example, are now found on arm armor pieces instead of the leg armor slot.
7 💦 UI Changes ♔
Desti🧸ny 2 finally has a dark UI theme. The login screens, inventory, and gear inspection screens have now made the jump to a more moody grey color instead of the bright white that was used in previous years. This should make browsing theไ UI much more eye-pleasing for many.
Quests have also seen a slight UI makeover. Similar to the original Destiny's UI 🥃design, quests will now display their objectives and associated steps in a much more concise manner. Entering a new step will also notify you of the next objective in-game without the need to pull out your Ghost or browse to the Quests tab.
6 Stasis Mech🅘anics 🌼
Since Stasis abilities have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the ab✅ility to slow and freeze enemies, it's important to understand how these abiliti♎es work.
Slows from Stasis abilities can stack up t🃏o ten times before they will freeze a player, forcing them out of any abilities while locking them in place for a few seconds. When a player is frozen, they can either wait for the freeze duration to end while slowly losing their health or choose to break their shields to free themselves. Breaking free from ice will not damage you past your health bar. Frozen targets can be shattered by dealing enough damage to them, dealing massive damage in a small area.
5 💃 Aspects And Fragments
Stasis is the only Subclass archetype in Destiny 2 that uses the Aspects and Fragments system. Aspects are effectively attunement nodes that players get to choose, ranging fౠrom augmenting abilities to adding entirely new ones.
Every Aspect has Fragment slots that Fragments go into. Fragments provide generic buffs to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your build that are class-🔴agnost༺ic, meaning any class can use any Fragment. Aspects, Fragments, and Stasis class grenades are all unlocked from short quests that can be started after you finish the Beyond Light campaign.
4 Ex✨otic Unlock Requir🗹ements
Unlike previous years, all of Beyond Light's Exotics are tied to uniqu🍸e 🐬challenges instead of Exotic drops. If you were hoarding Exotic Engrams from the season pass or previous seasons in preparation for Beyond Light, hold off on using them until you unlock the new Exotics.
Every Exotic armor piece is tied to completing Europa's Lost Sectors on Legendary difficulty solo, bringing back one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖🍃网:the best a🙈spects of Season of the Worthy. Weapons are either tied to quests or are obtained as rare drops from ಌcompleting elected difficulty Empire Hunts on Europa.
Exceptions to this rule include the following:
- Duality: Obtained from the season pass
- Hawkmoon: Obtained from a Season of the Hunt quest
- Unknown Heavy Exotic: Obtained from the Beyond Light raid.
3 𒁏 🧜 Ghost Shell Upgrades
Every Ghost Shell has switched to a modular system similar to Armor 2.0. Instead of farming or purchasing a Ghost with Guiding Light, you can slot 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a Guiding Light Mod into any Ghost Shell you please.
Because of this, every Ghost Shell will have no Mods installed when you log in. Make sure to upgrade your favorite Ghost Shell to rank five and slꦡot in Guiding Light before you start delving into the DLC to maximize your experience gains. Ghost Shells can also use Mods that bolster resource gains, Glimmer earnings, and give you the chance of earning Masterwork materials by playing core activities.
2 𓆉 𓆏Level To 1200 First
Beyond Light has increased the maximum Power cap to 1,2💟60. The soft cap for this expansion is 1,200, which is conveniently the Powe🅰r level the campaign ends on. This campaign is harder than previous expansion campaigns, so it is highly recommended that you increase your Power level to 1,200 first before attempting to harness Stasis.
The fastest ways of leveling your character include farming Lost Sectors, completing Public Events, and by defeating powerful Nightmares on the Moon. Do not turn in tokens to increa🦂se your power level; this strategy was heavily nerfed in the Beyond Light patch to no longer grant gear at your current Po💙wer level.
1 🍸 ꦜ No Vendor Refresh
Sadly, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:world and vendor loot pools have stayed the same with the release of Beyond Light. Besides the new weapons intro💙duced on Europa and the season, the only new items introduced were the Adored Ritual Sniper Rifle and one new armor set that has unique decals based on which core activity you farmed. This is the second year in a row that Bungie has not updated the world loot pool.
Not including Exotics and Adept weapons, Beyond Light and the new season💯 brought 25 new weapons to earn, 14 of which are not tied to open-world content. Five weapons are from Season of the Hunt's new activities, two are reskinned weaꩲpons added to Iron Banner, and an additional six come from the new Beyond Light raid.
