168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2's latest expansion, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Beyond Light, is the next step in Destiny 2's story, and with ꦉit comes new content and a plethora of changes. Destiny players certainly appreciate engaging new content, but it's worth remembering that the game has a history of not exactly being the most sensical.

With its latest expansion, the same still holds true. While😼 the new content may be a clear shift in a new direction for the first-person shooter RPG, there are still some things in Destiny 2: Beyond Light that just don't make any sense.

10 The Darkness Feels A Lot Like The Light ꦯ

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Stasis Subclass

In Beyond Light, player𒉰s are able to effectively embrace the darkness, granting them access to a new ice-based subclass — an element known as stasis. There are a few things that make stasis feel unique; it's more customizable than the other subclasses that players are used to, for example. But beyond that, everything feels very familiar.

With stasis, players gain access, unsurprisingly, to a handful of new grenades, a new melee ability, and a new super. If that sounds familiar, it's because that what comes along with every other subclass, too. If the Darkness is supposed to be such a dangerous power, why does it feel so similar to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Light-based subclasses?

9 Why Are Guardians Just Now Visiting Europa? ♏▨

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Flying To Europa

Narratively, Destiny has never really been perfect. So it stands to reason that from a strictly narrative perspective, it doesn't make much s😼ense that players are just now exploring Europa.

One would think that, with how committed the 🦩Vanguard is to keeping the system safe, that someone would have noticed an entire Fallen faction making a base on Europa. After all, when playing through the campaign of Beyond Li﷽ght, it's not like the Fallen just got there - they are pretty well ingrained from the start. All this advanced technology and not a single Guardian noticed?

8 ༒ Playli🧸st Armor Sets Look Very Similar

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Playlist Armor Comparison

With every new Destiny season, hardcore collectors and fashion-minded guardians look forward to new armor available as part of the new content, and Beyond Light has brought a big change to the game: new Vanguard, Crucible, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gambit armor sets. In an interesting turn o🍰f events, however, all of these sets are similar☂ly designed, and just differently colored.

While certainly disappointing from a development perspective, it makes no sense within the context of the game, that the Vanguard armor could look the exact same as Gambit aꦺrmor; especially since players know how the Vanguard feels about The Drifter.

7 🐻Where Are The﷽ Cabal?

Destiny 2 Cabal

When exploringꦚ Europa and uncovering its secrets, players will find that the destination is ⛄surprisingly absent of Cabal. This would effectively make the second location where the Cabal have no presence (the other being Luna, released in Shadowkeep.)

While it's hardly a bad thing, as dealing with the Fallen and the Vex is more than enough, it's certainly noteworthy to ꦉsee that the Cabal haven't been up to very much since Season of The Worthy.

6 🦋 Hey Ana, Can We Talk About Mars?

Destiny 2 Ana Bray

Players will remember that Ana Bray was the ꦡplanetary vendor for Mars, a planet introduced during the Warmind expansion of Vanilla Destiny 2. A legendary Guardian in her own right, it's n꧟ot surprising that Ana survived whatever cataclysmic event that occurred causing Mars to disappear after the arrival of the pyramids.

Rather, what is confusing is the fact that, despite the number of interactions involving Ana that happen on Europa, she not once wants to make mention of how she survived. A planet disappearing iꦓs kind of a big deal — players would think that she'd have something to say about it. Then again, the content of Beyond Light does give her other things to focus on.

5 Stasis In The Cru🐓cible Was Out Of Control

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Stasis Crucible

Within the Destiny community, there is a dedicated player base that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:loves PvP content more than anything. So when ꦗa new subclass was introduced, they were quick to bring it into the Crucible to test it out 𓂃against other guardians. As it turns out, Stasis was incredibly overpowered.

Players were thoroughly testing the limits of Stasis in the PvP mode, and what they were finding was enough for developers at Bungie to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:push through an update a little over a week after the launch of the expansion in order to make Stasis a bit less overpowered.♊ Now, getting frozen in the Crucible still doesn't feel great, but it's not as bad as it was before.

4 ♕ 𓆉 Sunsetting Gear Is Still A Controversial Idea

Destiny 2 Austringer Hand Cannon

Even though it's already been put into effect, the idea of sunsetting gear still leaves a sour taste in player's mouths. The idea, of course, is to encourage players to go after new gear; not to rely on the old faithfuls that players have spent hours farming for and hoping RNG worked in t♛heir favor. With gear being sunset, players are forced♌ to go after something new.

Players dislike this, though, because it seems counter-intuitive to the amount of time and effort put into playing the game. Things would be a 🉐lot more enjoyable, players feel, if they could use the weapons they want, rather than being forced to part ways with something they may have worked hard to get.

3 This Strike Feels Familiar 💎

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Novota

While this one may be lost on players newer to Destiny veterans of the game will recognize the strike called The Disgraced, as a near one-to-one copy of the Will of Crota strike from the first Destiny game. Now, it's not exactly a secr🧸et that Bungie 🌠planned to reuse content from the previous games, but it still feels a little odd.

Yes, there is definitely something to be said about sharing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cꦫontent that new players haven't experienced and that existing players remember fondly, but there has to be some innovation or incentive beyond nostalgic appeal to keep the latter group satisfied. Otherwise, this move o💧f reusing♍ content really doesn't make much sense at all.

2 ♎ 🍒 Eris And Drifter Didn't Do Much

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Eris Morn Exo Stranger Drifter

In the content leading up to Beyond Light, Eris and The Drifter both played large parts, being proponents of not treating Light and Dark as so inherently good and evil. Both characters wanted players to be more critical, and to think for themselve𒁏s with a willingness to learn. Now, as Guardians embrace the Darkness to take advantage of its power, Drifter and Eris are surprisingly quiet.

Aside from a handful of scenes on Europa, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Drifter is mostl♐y still just handling Gambit. As for Eris, she's still hanging out on the moon, and the Exo Stranger is actually the player's priꩲmary source for Stasis related content. It's not that players aren't happy to see her again; there was just more expected from Eris and Drifter.

1 There Are Still No N🐬ew Enemies

Destin 2 Champion

Destiny players are intimately familiar with The Fallen, Hive, Vex, Cabal, and Taken. Even by now the Sꦍcorn, introduced in Destiny 2's Forsaken expansion two years ago, are familiar in terms of Destiny enemies. For 𓄧as far in the system Guardians are able to explore, is it really possible that there aren't any new races out there?

It's one of the things that makes the least sense about Destiny. Fans still aren't sure if it's a lack of resources or if it would be narratively difficult to introduce a new enemy type, but whatever the case, the small handful of baddies that players do f๊ace can't be all that the game's universe has to offer.
