The completion of the Deep Stone Crypt raid had a major impact on Destiny 2. Several new activities opened up, including Exo Simulations, the Europa Eclipsed Zone, and the introduction of three new exotic weapons. If you're looking for the new exotic sniper rifle called Cloudstrike - and it is Cloudstrike, not "Crowdstrike" as Google search may have you believe -🐎 here's how𓃲 to get it.
How To Get Cloudstrike
Cloudstrike can be obtained from a brand new version of the Europa Empire Hunts. If you've been keeping up with Variks' Sabotage missions, you've probabl🔯y noticed many of them have not yet been unᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚlocked. With the completion of the Deep Stone Crypt raid, all of Variks' Sabotage quests are now available — but they still need to be completed in a specific order.
Head to Variks and open 🔥his Sabotage menu. You need to complete Europan Explorer I and Europan Explorer II before you'll have access to Cloudstrike. You have to complete the Exo Stranger's mission that rewards the High Albedo sidearm as well. If you don't have access to these Sabotage missions, make sure you do any Exo Stranger missions first.
Europan Explorer I is pretty straightforward, you'll just need to kill enemies on Europa using Kinetic, Energy, and Power. This can easily be done in a public event or Lost Sector. By completing this Sabotage you'll ope𓃲n a new menu on the second page of Variks' vendor screen that allows you to spend Hereal꧑ways Pieces to start quests for certain weapons.
Next step is the Europan Explorer II Sabotage. For this, you'll need to kill 30 powerful enemies in an Empire Hunt. I was able to do this in one run t☂hrough The Warrior hunt, but depending on which one you choose you may have to run up to two hunts. Once that's done, you'll find a new marker on your map with the name of a specific Empire Hunt.
This is the "Elected difficulty for Empire Hunts" that you've just unlocked by completing Europaﷺn Explorer II. Select this campaign mission to select your difficulty and start this new type of Empire Hunt.
These Empire Hunts do not reward specific weapon drops like normal Empire Hunts, but they൩ also do not have a Herealways Piece cost. Here are the tiers and rewards for the elected difficulty hunts:
- Adept 1180: Cloudstrike (rare) Enhancement Cores (uncommon)
- Hero 1220: Cloudstrike (rare) Enhancement Cores (common) Enhancement Prism (rare) High-stat Crystocrene Armor (rare)
- Legend 1250: Cloudstrike (rare) Enhancement Cores (uncommon) Enhancement Prism (common) High-stat Crystocrene Armor (uncommon)
- Master 1280: Cloudstrike (rare) Enhancement Prism (common) High-stat Crystocrene Armor (common)
It doesn't matter which difficulty you run, Cloudstrike always has only a rare chance of dropping. If you only care about the Cloudstrike, Adept is definitely the easiest a💝nd fastest way to complete this activity. However, if you're able to run the hunt on Hero you'll get at least one enhancement core at the end of every single completion. At Legend, this is likely the fastest and easiest way to farm Enhancement Prisms in the entire game.
Cloustrike is not an easy drop. After 15 completions, no one in my strike team has managed to find one yet. On the other hand, this is a great way to complete Empire Hunts for the other Sabotage missions, su♉ch as Europa Challenges III, which can only be completed in Empire Hunts. Now you can farm hunts without having to pay Hereafter Pieces.
