The Cosmodrome is returning in Beyond Light, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2’s upcoming expansion. But if you’re a New Light player, you might not know what the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Cosmodrome is. Allow us to illuminate.
Every Destiny 2 player that has played the game since the release of Shadowkeep, last year’s big expansion, has already been to the Cosmodrome. Players that got into Destiny 2 but never played the original have also likely been to the Cosmodrome in a limited fashion, while Destiny 1 play෴ers will remember the Cosmodrome as not only the place where their journeys began but also a destination no♛t at all dissimilar to the EDZ currently on Earth.
The Cosmodrome is where it all began. Your Ghost finds you among the rubble of humanity, surrounded by burnt-out cars right next to a giant spaceport. The scene showcases humanity’s desperate attempt to flee the Darkness in giant colony ships that never took off. Instead, fuel lines were🗹 ruptured and everyone was either trapped or on fire. It was a grim scene made all the grimmer by the fact that the Fallen had taken up shop in the meantime and were desperately trying to kill you.
But besides the death and despair, the Cosmodrome is a great place. In Destiny 2,ꦇ you'll recognize it as the giant structure you search through for the Riskrunner and Thunderlord Exotics. And New Light players will discover that the intro to the game is remarkably similar to Destiny 1, right up until you find an old spaceship and fly away.
The Cosmodrome wasn't just an introduction to Destiny, though. There were three strikes available in Destiny 1: Will of Crota, The Devil's Lair♊, and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. All of these strikes are set to return when the Cosmodrome arrives this September, but not all at once.
Will of Crota will be the first strike to return, followed by The Devil's Lair and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. later in Season 13. The Cosmodrome will also not have all of its zones either, as Bungie mentioned that only portions of Destiny 1's map will come with Beyond Ligh♌t. That will get "fleshed out" later☂ in Season 13 too.
Vault of Glass, the Cosmodrome's raid, won't come back until much later in Year 4. But it will return thanks to Bungie's new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny Content Vault.
