168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2 and its expansions have been available on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Game Pass for several months now - as long as you've been playing on console. However, when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Beyond Light launched on the subscription service back in November 2020, Xbox reveale꧙d💫 it was working on getting the expansions available across both platforms.
Now, as spotted by fans, that day could be fast approaching. As spotted in a screenshot of a Destiny 2 lobby, some players have a Windows icon next to their gamertags, indicating that they are playing on PC without a launcher, as opposed to playing on Xbox, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation, Steam or Stadia. It's assumed that the expansions will be coming to Game Pass for PC August 24, coinciding with the start of Season 15.
The screenshot was shared by Bungie as part of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:crossplay announcement. Starting with 15, players across all platforms will be able to squad up, making it the perfect time to ensure all players have acceꦛss to the expans𒐪ions.
The announcement explained exactly how crossplay functionality will work in practice. Every player will be given a new "Bungie Name", which will ensure e𒆙veryone has a unique tag. Your Bungie name will be generated using your current gamertag on whatever platform you use, but add a hashtag and a four-digit number to the end of ꦇit, just like Discord names. However, if your current name contains either inappropriate language or an invalid character, then you will be given a generic name of "Guardian#" and then the generated numbers.
If you think your current tag won't make it past the Bungie filters, you should change it now. The developer has confirmed that the ability to change your Bungie name won't go live for some time.
Another thing players will have to consider when Season 15 goes live is who's in your party. Bungie is trying to keep console and PC players separated in PvP as much as possible, so if a group contains one PC player, you will all be matched with other PC players regardless of your own platform. Stadia users will be classed as console players for PvP matchmaking purposes.
