How To Get Eyes Of Tomorrow
Like Anarchy and One Thousand Voices before it, Eyes of Tomorrow is an exotic weapon that can be earned from the new raid, Deep Stone Crypt. It is rewarded as a rando🍃m drop from the final encounter of the raid called Taniks, The Abomination.
While it is a completely random drop from finishing the raid, it won't be nearly as difficult to earn the exotic drops from previous ra🍌ids, The Last Wish and Scourge of the Past.
During Moments of Triumph earlier this year, Destiny rebalanced the drop rates for exotic weapons in raids. Now, every timeꦚ you complete a raid and the One Thousand Voices doesn't drop for you, your chances of finding it on the next completion increase. This mechanic is often referr♔ed to as a pity-timer, and if you've ever tried to get legendary cards in Hearthstone or Heirloom weapons in Apex Legends, this is pretty much the same thing.
Bungie has not confirmed that One Thousand Voices uses the same pity timer that was introduced during Moments of Triumph, but considering it wa🎃s a universal system added that also applies to One Thousand Voices, it's 𒁃a reasonable assumption to make.
What Does Eyes Of Tomorrow Do
Eyes of Tomorrow is an exotic rocket launcher that fires a volley of six individual rockets. If you ADS before firing, the weapon♛ can lock onto up to six separate targets. EoT will maintain it's targetting on those enemies even when you switch back to hip fire.
It terms of damage, the single target damage potential far exceeds that of One Thousand Voices. EoT has a unique perk that boosts the damage of the🍬 next volley when you kill atleast four targets. If you manage to activate this perk before unloading a full volley onto a boss, the damage output of Eyes of Tomorrow is pretty much unrivaled. This is a worthy raid weapon and one that will be useful in both PvP and PvE endgame activities for the foreseeable future.
