We have streamer to thank for reporting this exploit on thei🥂r Twitter account. The exact mechanics of the exploit are unknown, but they involve producing a “baboon” error code on✱ the enemy team, causing them to disconnect as though they’d abandoned the match.
Clyde noted that one opp🌊osing team member left on the verge of his 5-1 victory. His concerns about "funny" business were confirmed when his fireteam was suddenly struck with a connection error that booted them to orbit.
"Four-one and they sauced us," gripes Clyde in th🤪e video as his flawless 🌞run comes to an unfortunate end. He directs his next message at Bungie; “We need to fix this, now.”
As reports, a similar glitch has existed on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2's competitive Crucible playlist, but this is the first time it's been seen in Trials of Osiris. The new exploit threatens to derail the revamped Trials, which recently received a rework that improved loot acquisition and matchmaking so more players could secure that coveted flawless win.
It looks like Trials of Osiris is having similar success this past weekend, although not quite as much as the one prior. Over the September 10 weekend, Trials eventually had 750,000 players try their luck, while this weekend that number sits at as of the time of this writing. That's still many times more than previous seasons and is a positive sign for the health of the competitive format going forward.
But only if Bungie can ensure cheaters don't ruin the game mode. Let’s hope that whatever is causing this “baboon” exploit gets fixed before Trials returns for its third weekend this season.
