A Destiny 2 player has figured out how to kill the final𝓡 boss of the Pit of Heresy dungeon without doing any damage. 💛Sort of.

The Pit of Heresy is still a relatively new addition to Destiny 2, so players are still figuring out the best strategies for taking down Zulmak, Instrument of Torment, the final boss of the pit. However, the Destiny community is always searching for ways to exploit the game and bypass lengthy boss fights, and it seems like one Destiny 2 player has found something for Zulmak.

That player is Gladd, a Destiny 2 streamer you might have already seen or might remember as the guy who coached Bagel4K on his solo journey through the Shattered Throne after reach꧋in🍃g Power Level 999. He’s back with another video on how to kill Zulmak without going through the 🍎usually complicated process of killing his minions and dunking void orbs into altars fir𓆏st.

Here’s how it works: first, everyone enters the final arena and starts killing Accursed Knights to steal their swor꧑ds. Once everyone is properly armed, the Warlock player heads into the center of the arena and puts down a Well of Radiance. Normally, this would be a terrible idea as Zulmak is completely immune to damage until the team brings about a damage phase by killing several minions and dunking several void orbs.

But a strange interaction betw💟een Well of Radiance an🍃d the Accursed Swords somehow allows the fireteam to damage Zulmak directly without going through that process. In the video below, you can see Gladd and friends damaging Zulmak with sword swings, nibbling away at the Knight’s health bar with each swipe.

After the encounter is over, 🍌the final screen reveals that each player has in fact performed "0" d𓆉amage.

While the glitch appears to bypass much of the final battle, we hesitate to call it a viable exploit. The whole battle takes 20 minutes, which is a little bit longer than it would take to perform the normal process of killing Zulmak. It is certainly simpler, but efficiency is always the goal for boss fights, and this just seems to take longer than a weꦿll-coordinated firetea🐷m doing things as the developers intended.
