Subclass customization has finally returned to the Destiny franchise with the Beyond Light expansion. Instead of using a node-based skill grid as the original game did, Bungie introduced two 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:new items named Aspects and Fragments that provide passive and active effects.

Fragments are where Stasis goes from a solid Subclass to a top-tier pick. These passive bonuses range from granting stronger Stasis detonations to increased weapon stats after freezing a target. Since you can only obtain two a week from the Exo Stranger, picking the best Fragments for your build is a massive timesaver. For those looking for the best Fragments, here are all of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2's Stasis Fragments ranked from worst to best.

Updated July 23rd, 2022, by Charles Burgar: While Stasis hasn't seen many changes since Season of the Lost, some community discoveries and general sandbox changes have altered the value of certain Fragments. Resilience now grants damage resistance in PvE, Whisper of Chains saw some nerfs in PvP, and it turns out Whisper of Hedrons grants +60 to certain stats, not +30. We've updated the tier list to reflect these changes and community discoveries.

14 𝓀 Whisper Of Refraction ඣ

Destiny 2 Whisper of Refraction

Whisper of Refraction: Defeating slowed or frozen targets grants you class ability energy.

Any slowed or frozen targets you defeat🌞 while this Fragment is equipped will recharge around 10% of your class ability. This Fragment has no internal cooldown and gives even more energy if the target is a major, proving up to 50% energy if you kill a slowed boss. Some Stasis builds that revolve around class abilities can benefit from this Fragment, yet its effects pale in comparison to your other options.

This Fragment can prove to be a solid choice for Crucible players. Dodges, Barricades, and Rifts with the Frostpulse Aspect 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:are incredibly strong when utilized properly. Unfortunately, Icefall Mantle and Mask of B🐭akris disable this Fragment while your class ability cannot regenerate, significantly reducing the effectiveness of Whisper of Refraction for certain builds where you'd want to spam yoജur class ability.

Whisper of Refrac🌊tion also saw an indirect nerf in Season of the Lost. Utility Kickstart, a Stasis class item mod, effectively does the same thing. Using your class ability will refund up to 3♔0% class ability energy. Unlike Refraction, that mod works with Mask of Bakris and Icefall Mantle, reducing this Fragment's value even more. If you want 100% uptime for your class ability, Whisper of Refraction is a good pick, but just how many builds rely on their class ability to function? Not many.

13 𒅌 Whisper 🐽of Fractures

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Titan Behemoth

Whisper of Fractures: Your melee energy recharges faster while you are near two or more combatants. -10 Discipline.

Whisper of Fractures sounds fantastic on paper, but it fails to provide any meaningful melee en𝔉ergy returns in practice. This Fragment recharges your melee ability by 🌟2.5% per second while two enemies are near you. If more enemies surround you, this effect becomes stronger. It seems to cap out at 10% melee energy per second while five enemies are near you. Whisper of Fractures works in PvP.

Destiny 2 has been pushing more add-dense encounters since Beyond Light launched, so this Fragment activates more often than you might expect in PvE. With that said, one mechanic makes this Fragment obsolete: Stasis shards. Every class can spawn Stasis shards with ease through one Aspect slot, allowing you to spam your melee without nearly as much risk. You can combine the two to have constant melee uptime, but why not use 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Heavy Handed or similar melee-regenerating armor mods then? There are so many options for💜 getting melee energy as a Stasis uꦚser that Whisper of Fractures fails to impress.

12 Whisper O𓃲f Rending ꦅ

Destiny 2 Stasis Crucible

Whisper of Rending: Kinetic weapons do increased damage to Stasis crystals and frozen targets.

This Fragment is somewhat deceptive, as it only works with Primary weapons. Special Kinetic weapons don't see a damage boost at all. It's the main reason why this otherwise exce༒llent Fragment is rated so poorly on this list.

Whisper of Rending provides a 43% damage increase to enemies affected by Stasis and a 100% damage buff against Stasis crystals. For comparison, High-Energy Fire only provides a 20% damage buff—15% in PvP. ♏Whisper of Rending also stacks with damage buffs like High-Energy Fire, leading t💮o some absurd damage spikes against majors and bosses that are frozen. Unfortunately, that's only for Primary weapons, a weapon class that you aren't using to fight those enemies normally.

If you play PvP, this Fragment also helps mitigate the massive 50% damage reduction Primaries have against frozen targets. This Fragꦕment will cause frozen targets to take significantly more damage from Primaries, a major improvement but nothing game-changing.

Shadebinder Warlocks will get the most use out of this Fragment, as it give🐓s that subclass a reliable means of shattering Stasis crystals. And since Shadebinders are tune෴d around freezing enemies constantly, gaining a 43% damage buff against frozen targets is nothing to scoff at. But for every other subclass or those that don't main hard-hitting Primaries, this Fragment isn't worth using.

11 Whi🍬sper of Impetus

Destiny 2 Whisper of Impetus

Whisper of Impetus: Damaging targets with a Stasis melee reloads your stowed weapons and grants you a temporary boost to weapon ready speed.

Damaging a target or Guardian with your charged melee ability will reload all of your weapons, not just what's stowed. You'll also gain a fi🅠ve-second buff called Nimble Arsenal, granting 100 handling to all weapons. You cannot reload your weapons through Stasis melees while Nimble Arsenal is active. This Fragment works in PvP.

Most classes will have a hard time taking full advantage of this Fragment, yet players that fully build into their Stasis melee will greatly appreciate just how powerful Impetus can be. With constant melee uptime, you never have to reload and have permanent Quickdraw on all weapons. This also allows you to weave different guns together during a DPS phase. You can fire a Rocket Launcher, swap to aꦫ Shotgun, unload all rounds into the target, then use your melee ability to fully reload both guns. So long as you have melee charges, you'll never have to reload again.

The issue is that Revenant is the only subclass that has ample melee charges. Shadebinders have a somewhat clunky melee ability, and Behemoths have to use movement to trigger Shiver Strike or Howl of the Storm.ꦯ Impetus' niche application prevents it from ranking higher on this list, but don't sleep on this Fragment; it's criminally underused in PvE.

10 🐻 ౠ Whisper Of Hunger

Destiny 2 Stasis Subclasses

Whisper of Hunger: Increases the melee energy gained from picking up Stasis shards. -10 Mobility. -10 Recovery.

Whisper of Hunger doubles the amount of melee energy gained from Stasis shards, increasing the melee energy gains from 10% to around 20%. This comes with a massive caveat of -10 to the Mobility and Recovery stats. Whisper of Hunger does not enhance the healing effects provided by Whisper of Rime. Hun𒀰ger works in Pv♛P.

Melee energy is seldom a problem with this Fragment equipped. Gaining 20% melee energy with each Stasis shard makes it much easier to create an ꦑinfinite melee loop for some builds,🌸 especially Revenant Hunters. The issue is that Hunger comes with a massive opportunity cost. This Fragment requires:

  • One of your Aspect slots.
  • A Fragment slot.
  • 20 stat points.

That's a major ask for any build, especially for Hunters and Warlocks due to the stat penalties. If you're building into your melee ability, Whisper of Hunger is a fantastic pick. For builds that are focusing on another property of Stasis, you're better off with another Fragment. This F🐼ragment is also tough to recommend in PvP due to the major stat penalties.

9 𒆙 Whisper Of Durance

Destiny 2 Duskfield Grenade Cropped

Whisper of Durance: Slows from your abilities last longer. For those abilities that linger, their duration will also increase. +10 Strength.

Whisper of Durance is a flexible Fragment that works for just about every buildꩲ. Durance increases the duration of the slow debuff by 0.5 seconds. Most players won't notice this uptime increase, but they will certainly notice their abilities lasting longer.

Most abilities last for two more seconds while this Fragment is equipped, although Bleak Watchers have their duration extended by five seconds. This makes Duskfields much stronger in PvE, and it improves the uptime of Bleak Watcher turrets for Stasis Warlock builds. It won't single-handedly make your Stasis build overpowered, but it is a solid Fragment to run if you have a spare slot.💜 PvE Bleak Watcher builds should always have this equipped.

8 Whisper Of Bonds ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ

Destiny 2 Revenant throwing Silence Kama

Whisper of Bonds: Defeating frozen targets grants you Super energy. -10 Intellect and -10 Discipline.

has become a Stasis Fragment in the form of Whisper of Bonds. With🌠 this Fragment equipped, defeating frozen enemies will grant you Super energy at the cost of -10 Intellect and Discipline.

Every enemy grants 2.5% Super energy on kill. While that sounds low, freezing a small group of enemies can generate a large chunk of Super energy. Shadebinders can use this Fragment to great effect when paired with Coldsnap Grenades, capable of obtaining their Super in under a minute. Behemoths might want to skip this Fragment unless they use Diamond Lance or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:freeze tons of enemies with Glacie💛r Grenades. Revenants can use꧋ Bonds to help refund Super energy upon casting Silence & Squall.

What makes this Fragment truly powerful is its synergy with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ager's Scepter. Every kill while using Will Given Form will refund Super energy—a resource the gun needs to stay in its supercharged state. Every subclass that uses Ager's Scepter will want this Fragment. Shadebinders🦩 and Revenants will want to use this Fragment💟 for Super-reliant builds. With all of that said, Whisper of Bonds has some rather major stat negatives that make it tough to recommend for PvP builds.

7 🐠 Whisper of Torment ꦇ

Destiny 2 Frozen Fallen

Whisper of Torment: You gain grenade energy each time you take damage from targets.

Whenever you receive damage from any enemy, you will gain around 5% of your grenade energy back. This has an internal cooldown of around one second. If you take damage from⛦ multiple sources, the effect will only proc once. Whisper of Torment works in PvP.

A 5% increase might sound bad, but you'd be surprised just how often you're taking damage in Destiny 2. If you're in the middle of a gunfight, this Fragment can recharge your grenade much faster than normal. Assuming you take co🎶ntinuous fire and have no grenade regen, you would gain your grenade back every 20 seconds. That's slightly better than a 100 Discipline build using Firebolt or Duskfield Grenades, and you can further improve this cooldown with armor mods.

So why don't more builds use this Fragment more often? Quite simply, most builds just don't have enough space. Whisper of Shards is more potent for Shatterdive Hunters, Behemoth Titans typically build around Stasis shards, and Shadebinder Warlocks use Exotics like to get their grenꩵades back quickly. It's a great Fragment for PvE and PvP, but it isn't quite good enough to be valued above some other entries oꦓn this list.

6 ♌ Whisper Of Conduction ꧋

Destiny 2 Exo Stranger Stasis Fragment

Whisper of Conduction: Nearby Stasis shards track to your position. +10 Intellect. +10 Resilience.

Stasis shards will track towards your location, similar to how Soul Devourer works on Thorn. The tracking speed is quite slow, although the effective range of this Fragment is quite large, capable of pulling objects around corners towards you. Sꩲince shards are instanced, only you will benefit from the shard tracking. Becoming invisible by any means will disable Stasis Shard tracking.

On the surface, this seems like a lackluster Fragment, yet its synergy with other shard Aspects and Fragments makes it an excellent pick for certain builds. When paireꦛd with Whisper of Rime, you can have an effective means of healing after every engagement in PvE or PvP. The stat increases are also fantastic, with Conduction being the only Fragment that buffs your Intellect stat. Crucible players should definitely consider using this Fragment for the stat increases alone.

5 Whisper🍸 Of Fissures ❀

Destiny 2 Shadebinder Super

Whisper of Fissures: Increases the damage and size of the burst of Stasis when you destroy a Stasis crystal or defeat a frozen target.

Any build that focuses on shattering Stasis crystals will want to pick up Whisper of Fissures. This Fragment will increase the damage and size🧸 of Stasis detonations while equ𝄹ipped.

Related: Destiny 2: The Best Warlock Builds For PvP And Pv𓆏E

It's hard to quantify how much of a difference this makes, but it is definitely noticeable. The area coverage and damage increase seem to be twice as much, turning Glacier Grenades into icy Nova Bombs if shattere✱d quickly. Every class can benefit from this to some degree. Shadebinders get the most mileage out of Fissures in PvE due to how easily they can freeze targets. Throw a Coldsnap Grenade, watch your enemies freeze, then damage them to create a mas✃sive explosion.

Behemoths and Revenants can also 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:detonate Stasis with ease, making Whisper of Fissures one of the strongest Fragments if paired with Glacier Grenades. Ager's Scepter also benefits from Whisper of Fissures, covering a much larger area when it detonates a target. For PvE and PvP Stasis builds, Whisper of Fissures is almost always a good picওk.
