With new areas, abilities, monsters, and never-before-seen content have been unlocked, suffice to say Outriders has a lot more to offer today than it did as a demo. With cross-play now back in action, fans cannot get enough of the game and it is not hard to see why.
Destiny 2: A Solar System To Explore
In Destiny 2, the player quickly unlocks different areas within the game's set solar system. Each one has its own story to follow and missions to complete, creating endless possibilities for adventure. On top of this, many areas of each plane🦩t are available to explore without having to pay out for the expansion packs.
There are plenty of side missions, strikes, and exploration tasks on offer for those without the expansions. For restless explorers, this means there are a variety of worlds to journey to. Oꦦutriders, meanwhile, is based on one planet.
Outriders: A Variety Of Dynamic Environments On Enoch
On the planet of Enoch, which players will be exploring as their Outrider, there are a vari🍌ety of highly detailed and dynamic environments to play through. Not only do they add a visually interesting element to the game, but there are also challenges unique to the different landscapes. The attention to detail in the design of Enoch is a stark contrast to the Destiny 2 solar system.
Although they are set in completely different universes, the environments seen in Outriders are familiar ye🐠t alien. There is something new to discover in every corner of this world, from bases that host vendors t to barren wastelands. The world of Enoch truly feels like humanity is struggling to survive, only one look at anomaly-beaten towns shows players that.
Destiny 2: Ever-Evolving Expansions
Unlike 🔯Outriders, Destiny 2 has many expansion packs available. They grant access to new storylines or different missions if fans fancy a change from the ones p✤rovided upon initial purchase.
The game itself is 🃏always evolving and (for a price) keepi🔜ng the content fresh. Teasing the expansions with unavoidable in-game demos, fans get a peek at new challenges and sometimes charismatic characters to fight alongside, encouraging them to purchase the expansion packs. This early in Outriders' lifespan, there's no sign that the game will offer something similar.
Outriders: One-Off Purchase
Outriders is a one-off purchase game. Once players have paid the price for entry, there are no hidden extras or microtransactions needed to be able to enjoy the full experience. Every side mission and w𓆉eapon will be available at no additional cost, as well as the entirety of the main campaign.
Although Destiny 2's expansions do elevate the content, the full experience becomes very pricey very quickly. Therefore, for gamers on a budget, a one-off purchase game like Outriders that includes everything from the beginning is a bonus. For those who want to 100% complete the game as soon as possib🙈le, this is also very beneficial.
Destiny 2: The Chaos Of Battle
Guardians in Destiny 2 have a number of enemies to face off against. Often, a mixture of enemies will spawn together on a single planet, which can lead to utter in-b🍬attle chaos. Whilst strategic gameplay is beneficial within the Outriders universe because survival is paramount, Destiny 2 is more about the elimination of the enemy.
The Hive, as the name suggests, is one foe that will swarm together in vast numbers. W🍎hen players come across them, strategic gameplay is much less of an option. This high-octane, chaotic element of the game is popular among fans, with various expansions being based on run-and-gun action. By contrast, what has been seen of Outriders at the time of writing doesn't really emphasize this style of gameplay as much.
Outriders - Nature Has Evolved To Kill
As well as having more typical sci-fi enemies to battle against, such as the Insurgents who fight against the ECA (the 'good guys'). Outriders also features creat🌌ures that have evolved from animౠals and plants. These creatures can pose serious threats to the Outriders. This means that players have to keep their wits about them in every area they explore.
The enemies can be defeated in a variety of ways, through sheer courage and firepower o𝐆r with the use of🍬 strategic planning and deception. There is no one way to defeat the enemies, allowing gamers to have more influence over their overall experience and tailor it to their specific playstyle.
Destiny 2: Upgradable Gear and Weapons
In Destiny 2, collecting body parts from deceased enemies is the perfect way for gamers to upgrade their gear and weapons. The necessary items can also be collected from plants and other wildlife on the game's planets, or as rewards for completing missions. Within The Tower, a safe haven for all Guardians, there are many vendors that players can visit in order to gain upgrades of gear and weapons. One of the most important is Banshee-44, where comꦗponents can be traded for useful mods.
If this seems too long-winded, there is also the option to upgrade weapons currently in the Guardian's inventory. This creates an in-game experience that can be dictated by the player's personal preferences. Fans who favor close-quarters combat, for instance, can choose to upgrade their Power Weapon to become a deadly sword, whilst wearing a cape that has been customized to protect them from melee attacks. Outriders does 💯allow players to mod their weapons, however, it is not as in-depth for some gamers as Destiny 2 modding.
Outriders: Health Rewards
The bane of most gamers' existence in shooters is trying to scramble for health pickups, or find somewhere safe to hide whilst waiting for their health bar to slowly regenerate (while hoping enemies or opponents will not find them before it does). Destiny 2 features the latter method of health regeneration: to hide and hope for the best. This is not a𒀰lways the most helpful when The Fallen are on the prowl.
Outriders offer specific tasks tailored to ea🔯ch character's class type. For example. as a Pyromancer if an enemy has been marked with the player's skill and killed then the Outrider regains health. There is also passive health regen, if the player does not sustain damage then they can regain health over time. This means that the player has a few options to gain health, potentially resulting in less downtime than in D🌟estiny 2.
Destiny 2: Already Established Storyline And Game Style
While Outriders is a brand new game for fans to sink their teeth into, Destiny 2 is part of the Destiny fran🐎chise (and a direct continuation of the original game). Its universe is already established, so the premise of the game is easy to follow for loyal fans and new players alike.
It's easy to learn what it means to be a Guardian and discover why the solar system is the way it is by developing relationships with in-game NPCs. ꧃Additionally, help is on hand forဣ players who get stuck on missions or are unsure what they need to do to gain upgrades: a knowledgeable community awaits.
Outriders: Four Completely Different Classes
Outriders gives gamers four character classes to choose from, as opposed to Destiny 2's trio.
