Players have spent months farming activities for weapons they want. Thanks to the heavy RNG involved with getting a perfect item roll in Destiny, sunsetting 😼might make this pursuit undesirable for most players🅷.

Spare Rations is the best example of this, having a low chance of dropping during a certain week in a difficult activity. Once you get this weapon, you h𒐪ave thousands of potential combinations with most being lackluster. While an extreme example, most weapons follow a similar model and encourage hundreds of hours of farming. If these weapons simply go away after a year, spending upwards of 6 months to farm for a perfect roll is arguably a misuse of time that could be spent farming more recently released gear. This problem is even worse on armor with most players lacking perfect stat distr𓆏ibutions despite farming for almost a year.

6 ♏ Great: Pinnacles Can Return

Besides a few overpowered weapons that came out of Crucible, nearly every Destiny player loved the new Pinnacle weapons that came with every 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:new season.

Except that this system highly discourages players from taking long breaks. Since weapons and armor are only relevant for a year, taking a break means you lose time to both farm and use those items. Not only that, but returning two or three seasons into a year means you ꦚare significantly behind on the Power level grind, loot grind, and it's likely some or all of your gear has been retired. Bungie argues they want to fight the fear of missing out (known as FOMO) but then plans to add a system that instills this very fear.

4 Gr♎eat: Encourages Chasing Loot 🥃

One of the largest issues Destiny 2 suffers from currently is a lack of aspiration. Raids that aren't Garden of Salvation aren't worth playing, Trials has lacking rewards, and the seasonal activities reward weapons with rolls players💦 ha🐠ve dozens of.

If sunsetting is introduced, these weapons will become interesting again. Farm🧜ing for an Outlaw Rampag🌼e Hand Cannon will be exciting again, and it allows Bungie to try more exotic perk combinations that . There is little incentive to grind items when so many have the best weapon perks in the game on every weapon type.

3 Flop:ꦫ Doesn't Respect Time Inv♌estment

The largest issue players have with this system is how Bungie is throwing a⛎way thousands of hours of grinding out the window, disrespecting the player's time inves♛tment.

Surprisingly, Bungie has run into this issue before during Destiny's Dark Below DLC. that your time invested into gear woulꦇd not be invalidated in any way, yet that is exactly what's happening with sunsetting. Many players aren't interested in playing old activities and rightfully want to experience the new DLC content they paid for, which will likely be tied to a higher Power level that older gear can't achieve. This is even worse if you bought Eververse ornaments for Legendary weapons that are retiring.

2 🦋 Great: Perk Expe🍨rimentation

Destiny 2's weapon perks are rather dull when compared to the likes of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Division 2 or most MMOs. Armor has seen a🐻 great improvement with seasonal mods, but Bungie has been unable to truly experiment with gꦰuns since Pinnacles retired.

This divide in balance resulted in Destiny 1's Crucible slowly reducing the power fantasy until players fought over Special ammo or used Ice Breaker. Destiny 2 got rid of Specials altogether for PvP balance, ruining PvE. Forsaken then added Pinnacles and random rolls back, but weapons such as Recluse ruined PvP. Weapon sunsetting will only m🧜ake this problem worse. If weapons are nerfed with this system, it never lets weapons shine as Bungie has promised and defeats the purpose of the system. If weapons are kep൩t the same for the whole year, PvE or PvP risks being trivialized and might result in serious meta fatigue.
