Crossplay is here in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2 a little earlier than expected. Even Bungie hadn’t expected crossplay until later this year, but Season of the Splicer’s arrival seems to have accidentally activated some dormant code that would allow PC players to engage with PlayStation and Xbox players across a number of Destin♐y 2 game modes.
Reports are coming in from players all over, but we’ll turn💫 to The Verge’s ♐Tom Warren for video evidence of crossplay in action. Here we see a Crucible match between PC and Google Stadia players.
Crossplay was 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:confirmed ♛to be on the agenda for 2021, but Bungie had yet to provide a firm release date or even all the details on how it would work. Beyond Light brought crossplay between branded platforms, so PS4 and PS5 players cou✱ld play together, but not Xbox One and PS4 players. Now it seems that we’re getting a sneak peek at what true crossplay will look like when it arrives later this year.
However, crossplay's early 🔯arrival is definitely a mistake and it will be corrected later this week. That'ꦯs according to Destiny 2 community manager Cozmo, who broke the bad news on Twitter.
"We are seeing reports that some players are able to get a sneak peek at Crossplay," he wrote. "This isn't meant to be live yet and is not representative of the full experience. We will be implementing a fix to remove pu🥀blic access later this week, but in the meantime feel free to partake."
