Shadowkeep hasn't exactly had the smoothest launch. When the servers went live at🌱 10A.M PDT, the rush of new and returning players created an instant bottleneck that prevented a majority of players from logging in, instead sending them to a queue that for some, never ended.

Even getting to the queue has been a challenge for many. Despite offering a pre-install on PC, the game still needed to unpack starting at 10A.M. Players w🔜ith slower hard drives or CPUs reported needing up to 2 hours until the game was finally ready to play, only to then discover an infinite queue once logged in.
🌳Even those who got in reported numerous "Contacting Destiny Server" issues, constant lag, and an inability to leave orbit.
Shadowkeep is this years major expansion for Destiny 2, a game that has only🎀 improved and grown in popularity over the last 2 years, but there are other factors contributing to the server overload as well.
With the launch of Shadowkeep, Destiny found its new home on Steam. For the last two years Destiny lived on the Battle.Net client but, following developer168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Bungie's split with Activision🐻 earlier thꦛis year, was forced to move to a new platform.
Additionally, Shadowkeep launched alongside a new free-to-play version of the game called Destiny: New Light. The ftp version includes all of the year one content (Red War, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind) as well as access to all of the planets and pre-Shadowkeep activities in the game, including Forsaken's Gambits.
At 2:14 PDT today, @BungieHelp on Twitter tweeted that both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 are being taken down for emergency maintenance. At the 🦩time of publishing servers are sti𝔉ll down.
