As far as weird games are concerned, it's hard to beat out 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destroy All Humans. With plenty of crude humor, a bizarre storyline, hilarious propaganda, and do🅷zens of tongue-in-cheek references, we were shocked when THQ Nordic announced a remake was in development. The game holds up surprisingly w♌ell despite first launching in 2005, and just about everything from that original title remains intact — including the hilarious Half-Life references.

Destroy All Humans isn't shy about tipping its hat to other pop culture sensations. As players work their way through the main campaign, they'll encounter allusions to movies, books, television shows, and — of course — other video games. Half-Life 2 was released less than a year before Destroy All Humans, so the hit title was bound to be on the👍 minds of developers at Pand🐼emic Studios. And, sure enough, they found a way to sneak in several fantastic easter eggs for players to discover.

The first one appears near the end of the second mission, as Crypto is leading Miss Rockwell to his Flying Saဣucer. If players walk slow enough, they'll hear Miss Rockwell say, "This is just like my dream. Can't wait to tell Doctor Freeman about this." Gordon's not exactly a psychiatrist in the Half-Life series, but perhaps Headcrabs have more therapeutic value than we thought. Nonetheless, it's great to see that the dumb joke made the leap across console generations.

Much later in the game, players will encounter numerou❀s scientists working for the anti-ET organization, Majestic. If you stop and read a scientist's thoughts, it's possible for them to think, "I mustn't be late, they're waiting for me in the test chamber. Oh, wait, wrong game." Anyone familiar with the Half-Life series will immediately realize that this is referencing Gordon's tardiness to a very important — and deadly — appointment. Some scientists will also be wondering, "I was just following standard insertion procedures. In﷽sert tab A into slot B. What could go wrong?" which is again referencing our heroic Doctor Freeman.

The last known reference actually occurs in Destroy All Humans 2൩ when scanning a Tunguska peasant, who will often be pondering the following: "Have heard government is deciding to rename cities with numbers. Tunguska will be 'City 17'. W🍬ho is saying Soviet Union is not being warm and human?"

If you need me to exp🦋lain that last one, then it might be time for you to play some Half-Life.
