Sony PlayStation 5's DualSense controller is getting developers excited for a level☂ of immersion we couldn't experience in previous controllers.
Tequila Works, the developers behind 2017's RIME and the 2019 Stadia exclusive GYLT, is pa♔rticularly interested in the possibilities of the new controller. Speaking with Merstation, the head of the Spanish studio, Raúl Rubio, compared the differences between the current generation of consoles and the next-gen. While he did mention the power between generations is going to be big, he couldn't help but mention how the DualSense will beꦦ a game-changer.
“The integrated speaker, which offers many possibilities to create actions within the game where everything is context൩ualized,” says Rubio in a quote translated from Spanish.
While he does also praise Microsoft for creating a controller that builds on the comforts of what came before, he sees the PlayStation 5's paddle as something more revolutionary. Of note, Rubio is excited about the PlayStation's haptic feedback, biometric data tracking, and fingerprint recognition can make games more immersive. With that said, Sony hasn't spoken about the latter two, though patients hinted at the possibility of those features being included. Regardless, he seems to think so highly of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation controller thওat he thinks ergonomicꦅ preference will no longer be the deciding factor regarding the controller of choice for many players.
"Sony has🌞 been a little more daring [with their controller]. In༒ this case, with Create, you can do something a little more active," Rubio says.
The PlayStation 5, along with the Xbox Series X are expected to release just in time for the 2020 holiday season, though reports suggest Sony's next console will be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hard to get ahold of and will feature a higher pꦜrice tag (between $450 to $490 USD).
