Last month during Sony’s PS5 gameplay live event, Capcom revealed a brand new Special Edition version of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry 5. This new version would include new game modes, better graphics for next-gen consoles, and perhaps the most requested fea🌼ture of all, Vergil as a playable character.

The digital-only version of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will arrive on launch day for the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Xbox Series X/S and the PS5 (which is November 10 and November 12, respectively), but the physical version (for consoles that actually have an optical drive) will launch on December ൲1.

It’s important to note𝓀 here that there’s no free upgrade path on either the Xbox Series X/S or the PS5. You’ll have to purchase DMC5 Special Edition if you want to get access to all the cool new features, and doing so will not bring forward your save fil✱e on the PS4 or Xbox One.

But if you do get DMC5 Special Edition, you’ll get first crack at playing as Vergil. Originally an antagonist in Dౠevil May Cry 5 (as he usually is in previous games as well), Vergil will likely be a new game plus mode where you get to play from🉐 his perspective along with a story that runs concurrently to the main plot. At least, we assume--Capcom hasn’t released many details on how Vergil’s story will work, but that’s how he’s always arrived in past titles.

Other new features include Turbo Mode, which boosts the game speed to 1.2x, as we𝄹ll as Legendary Dark Knight mode. This adds even more enemies to꧙ hack and slash and makes use of both the Xbox Series X and PS5 beefier hardware.

Graphical enhancements are also on t🔜he table. You'll be able to choose between 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps, depending on whether you prefer resolution or smooth framerates. Ray tracing will arrive on day one for the PS5, but will take a little while longer to be added to the Xbox Series X in a later patch.

Capcom has already confirmed that ▨DMC5 Special Edition is for next-gen consoles only, bꦆut they've at least said that Vergil will be available as ✱paid DLC for older consoles and on PC. Strangely, ray tracing, Turbo Mode, and Dark Knight difficulty are so far limited to Special Edition even though current-gen PCs should be able to support these features.

Devil May Cry 5 Spe🃏cial Edition launches with the PS5 and Xbox Series X and will arrive in physical form on December 1.
