This Pulverize Druid build is one of the most popular Druid leveling builds in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Diablo 4 right now. While Druid can feel a bit slow to start, once you get up and running with Pul𓃲verize and Aspect Of The Ursine Horror to transform the skill into an AoE powerhouse, this build blasts through most content and can easily deal with content with levels much higher than your own𝓡.
This build covers skill progression, Aspects, tips and tricks, and a lot more besides. Let's get into this powerful build, here's everything you need to know.
Updated July 4, 2023: We've updated this article to include a video guide that breaks down how to level your Druid in Diablo 4.
Skill Priority
Here are t꧒he skills and the order we take them in.
Ability |
Maul Basic Ability |
Pulverize |
Earthen Bulwark |
Poison Creeper |
Trample |
Grizzly Rage |
Maul Basic Ability
First up, we're taking Maul to begin with. This is a great generator and a staple of getting enough Spirit to cast Pulverize more often.
Later on, this will swap to Earth Spike, but that's a little way away yet.
- Grab Maul > Enhanced Maul > Wild Maul to begin with.
Pulverize
Here's where the fun starts. Pulverize is the cornerstone of this build, and you want to max it out as quickly as possible.
- Pulverize > Primal Pulverize
Later on, we will pick up the Aspect Of The Ursine Horror and the Shockwave Aspect to turn Pulverize into pure, full-screen chaos of AoE damage.
Earthen Bulwark
This is a staple of this build's survivability - activating this skill allows you to soak up a lot of extra damage and will be very important when you start to enter World Tier 3.
- Earthen Bulwark > Preserving Earthen Bulwark
Poison Creeper
We've seen lots of variations on this skill choice during the leveling process. For us, we enjoy Poison Creeper because of its AoE and ticking poison damage.
Later on, when you reach level 50, this skill will be replaced by Debilitating Roar, as the b💝enefits of that skill are more important for the endgame build.
- Poison Creeper > Enhanced Poison Creeper > Brutal Poison Creeper
This skill is not a priority and should not be leveled unless you have excess skill points before level 50.
Trample
Trample is the Druid's one and only mobility skill and therefore we take it to improve speed throughout the game.
It also comes in very useful later in the game, and if you pick up any Landslide and Trample combos/uniques later on, it can make for a great alternative build.
Again, Trample is not a priority skill - don't level this up until you've leveled up Pulverize and Earthen Bulwark.
Grizzly Rage
Grizzly🌱 Rage is an excellent ability that turns you into a Fortified, unstoppable Werebear.
Later in the game, post level 50, there is so much synergy available here, but for now you're going to want to take Grizzy to allow you some more survivability in tight areas.
Passive Skill Priority
Here are a few of🅷 the passive kills you want to prioritize after grabbing your﷽ main abilities.
Heart of the Wild, Abundance, Wild Impulses
Located in the Core Tree (where you find Pulverize), these passives provide Spirit Regeneration and extra damage. Spiꩲrit regen is a very important factor in this build because we want to maximize the number of tim♎es we can cast Pulverize.
You want 1/3 for Heart of the Wild, and the 3/3 for both Abundance and Wild Impulses. This should be a priority after you grab your main abilities.
Predatory Instinct and Iron Fur
In the same tree, you want to grab 3/3 Predatory Instinct and 3/3 Iron Fur. Predatory Instinct for more damage and Iron Fur for survivability as you enter W🥂orld Tier 3.
- Grab Predatory Instinct early and wait until your last skill points to get Iron Fur, as survivability doesn't matter as much during the early leveling process.
Nature's Reach
Located in the Companion Skill tree, you want to grab Nature's Reach as you will be doing loads of damage to "distant" enemies with your Pulverize - especia🤪lly once you get the Shockwave Aspect online.
Defiance, Resonance, Natural Disaster
Located in the Ultimate Skills tree, you want to pick up 3/3 of Defiance, 1/3 of Circle of Life, and 3/3 of Resonance and Natural Disaster. You won't be able to max out this section until you get the extra skill points from completing world renown.
This provides a lot of damage buffs for your skills▨, including Earth damage, Vulnera🌜ble damage, and more.
Spirit Boons Priority
Once you hit level 15, you can complete a quick 💎questline near Tul Dulra in Scosglen to access your Spirit Boons.
You earn Druidic Offerings by killing monsters, and you'll need a few hundred to max out your boons.
- Deer - We want to take the Wariness boon for reduced damage from Elites.
- Eagle - We can take Avian Wrath for 30% more critical strike damage. Later, you might want to switch to Iron Feather for more life if you find yourself in dire situations farming Nightmare Dungeons at a high tier.
- Wolf - We can take either Energize for extra spirit regeneration (important early on), later switching to Calamity to maximize our uptime with Grizzly Rage.
- Snake - We pair with this boon and grab two from this tree: Calm Before The Storm and Masochistic. Lots of sustainability and more damage.
Stats Priority
Ultimately, during the leveling process🌜 1-50, you mostly want to click on items that provide a flat increase (any +green item is a good upgrade.)
You can keep an eye out for a few specific affixes and buffs though - ranks to Pulverize on your gloves is always good, as well as critical damage, damage to close enemies, damage to distant enemies, etc, etc.
Shockwave Aspect
This is one of the most important parts of this entire build and if you find a legendary with this Aspect make sure that you grab it and hold on to it.
You can extract the Aspect at a late𓄧r date. This transforms your Pulverize into an AoE killing machine. You will need to this for the build to really excel.
Alternative Aspects To Pick Up
What's excellent about this build is that you can get most of the Aspects you need just from running dungeons.
- Ursine Horror - From Belfry Zakara in Hawezar is ONE OF THE MOST IMPORANT ASPECTS for this build and should be grabbed early on if possible. It turns Pulverize into an earth skill for better synergy with your buffs.
- Aspect Of Mending Stone
- Aspect of Quick Sand
- Crashstone
You can find the location of these Aspects via the Codex of Power and they can be tracked to lead you directly to where the dungeon is located, regardless if it's in the fog of war.
