There are tons of quests to undertake in Diablo 4, ranging f☂rom simple fetch quests to world-building emotional journies. Some quests can even lead to others, creating a chain of quests that tells a larger story.
In the To Walk a Dark Path quest chain, you will learn the story of a pilgrim named Symon as you follow the trail of Elias on his quest to summon Lillith. This quest will also eventually take you to the place where Lilith was summoned in the cinematic trailer. Below, you can learn how to compleꦗte every step 🍃of the first part of this quest chain.
How To Complete To Walk A Dark Path Quest
To Walk a Dark Path can be started by speaking to Father Dymus in Zarbinzet in Hawez𒆙ar. ༺He will tell you of a missing Curate named Symon, and ask you to search for him.
After talking to Father Dymus, head east out of Zarbinzet into Faiths' Edge to find the Decaying Farmstead. Look in the east part of the search area to find the Farmstead. Once you arrive here, some bandits will attack; kill them to get the Lockbox Key, which you can use to open the Forgotten Lockbox.
Inside the Forgotten Lockbox is "A Record Of My Journey Pt. II", which mentions Tibault's Grasp. Next, travel to the Fethis Wetlands to the south of the Ruins of Rakhat: Inner Keep Waypoint. Here, speak to the Frightened Pilgrim. After the Pilgrim attacks and you subdue them, move to the west a bit and talk to them again.
Question all three Pilgrims to learn more about Symon and where he went next. After questioning the Pilgrim's this quest will be completed, and the next quest in the chain, At Any Cost, will be automatically accepted. In addition, you'll be rewarded with some gold, experience, Renown, and a Gem Cache that contains a few different gems.
