The first major piece of Diablo news to come out of Blizzcon has already been polarizing fans, as it is the first mobile game set in the Diablo universe.

The fans of the Diablo series have been highly anticipating Blizzcon 2018, as new content has been promised, with leaks suggesting that we may be seeing Diablo IV, a spin-off game, or even the rumored animated series t🎃hat is supposed to be funded by Netflix.

Diablo Immortal is an upcoming game for iOS and Android devices. The game is set between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III, as you play as one of six heroes who must rise up and protect the❀ land following Tyrael's disappearance and the shattering of the Worldstone, which has prompted many evil beings to take over and cause havoc.

It seems that Diablo Immortal uses a modified version of Diablo III's engine, as they share a similar aesthetic. The game looks amazing for a cell pho☂ne title, but it may not look so hot on an older phone🐻.

As Diablo Immortal is a cell phone game, it only uses touchscreen controls. You can set five of your cha꧃racter's special abilities to the UI so that you can more easily use them in combat, but it looks like combat could get pretty confusing when there are lots of foes on screen and you need to be accurately hitting the buttons that a🎃ctivate your powers.

There are six classes available in Diablo Immortal - the barbarian, the crusader, the demon hunter, the monk, the necromancer, and the wizard. This is almost exactly the same line-up as the classes from Diablo III, except that the witch doctor has been dropped.

The most important thing about Diablo Immortal that has yet to be clarified is whether the game will be a full retail product that you have to pay for upfront or whether it will be a🌸 free-to-play microtransaction fest. Smart money is on the latter, due to the incredible amount of money that cell phone games currently bringꦚ in.
