It looks like a Diablo animated series on Netflix really is happening. The sh💖ow's writer put out a tweet confirming that it's a thing, then quickly delete꧋d it. Which, as we all know on the internet, only confirms it more.
You might remember the original article about this that appeared on The Gamer a few weeks ago. If not, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:click here. The gist is that Andrew Cosby wrote the new Hellboy movie, and his work seems to be capturing Hollywood's attention. His take on action with a dark twist was supposedly good enough to entice Netflix to bring him on for a potential animated series based on the Diablo games.
It was still just rumor at the time. Especially the part about Diablo bei♔ng an animated series. Now, however, Cosby wrote a tweet that reveals all. More than Netflix wanted him to reveal, a✨pparently. The tweet, and posted on September 20th, reads:
"I guess I can confirm I am indeed in final talks to write and show-run the new DIABLO animated series for Activision and Netflix. It's very exciting and I hope to the High Heavens it all works out."
The tweet didn't even last a day before Cosby deleted it. It seems that he wasn't allowed to confirm it after all. Still, there's some key information in his words. For one, he is in final talks to work on the series. And not just to write, but to show-run as well. If Netflix plans to have him that involved, and is that far in the proce⛄ss, Cosby's ill-timed tweet probably won't do him any harm.
There's also the very interesting confirmation that Diablo w๊ill be an animated series. That rumor originally came separate from the one that said Cosby was💦 attached, so it's nice to see the man himself declare it.
Overall it has the very early indications of a solid series. Video game adaptations are notoriously hard to pull off, but Netflix already got it right once with Castlevania. As long as Cosby continues to bring his best, and tweet more carefully, Diablo looks to be in good hands.
