This makes Tamers virtually untouchable. In Xros Encounter, some of the best decks in the set revolve around their Tamer cards used as ꦑan engine or even a defensive option. Xros Heart, for example, utilizes its many Tamers to draw out all the pieces in its deck as quickly as possible, making Xros Heart one of the best decks in the BT10 format. Their boss Digimon, Shoutmon X4 was restricted to one copy per deck, but none of the Tamers are restricted, so the Xros Heart Tamers are free to gain card and memory advantage for days.

The Angoramon archetype finally receives a Tamer not locked behind a tournament promo pack. Although not the best Tamer in the set, Ruli is a good enough Tamer for Angoramon since it helps you suspend your opponent's Digimon constantly in order to pierce through them with Pyon Dump.
Ruli is Tamer that is more aimed towards the casual side ofꩲ Digimon Card Game, but maybe in the future, Angoramon will get the support it needs to push it over the edge.
6 🦄 💜 Nene Amano
Nene Amano is a huge boost to the DarkKnightmon deck, but it tends to be situational at best. A searcher card that costs three memory is welcome in any deck in the game, but its secondary effect of giving DarkKnightmon cards Blocker doesn't seem as good, especially when you take into account how fast the game is becoming.
The rise of cards and decks like GrandisKuwagamon, Bloomlordmon, and even Xros Heart, make this card only a bump in th🌳e road due to their easy access to piercing abilities.
5 Yuu Amano
The memory gain that Yuu Amano can net you with the Bagra Army deck is incredible. Since most of the cards in the archetype include the Save keyword, every time one of your Digimon is deleted,❀ Yuu Amano will let you gain a memory.
Yuu Amano's secondary effect let you use previously saved Digimon to reduce the play cost on you next Digimon played, letting you play huge boss Digimon like Blastmon to wipe out your opponent's Security or Tactimon to set up a wall of defense.
4 🐈 Kiriha Aon🐭uma
Kiriha Aonuma is the Tamer released in BT10 that supports the new Blue Flare archetype. Not only is Kiriha a memory fixer card, allowing you to set your memory to three at the beginning of every turn, preventing your opponent from choking you out of 🌸memory. Kiriha also synergizes with the many le🎶vel four Digimon in the Deck since it can be played out for free through the effect of MailBirdramon or Blazing Memory Boost.
Kiriha lets you use any Digimon cards under your Tamers as material for a DigiXros. This effect combined with all the Blue Flare cards with the Save keyword and their boss Digimon that can recycle their material, make Kiriha an essential piece to the Blue Flare stra𓆏tegy.
3 💞 Akari Hinomoto 🎐
Xros Heart Tamers are a very important engine to the deck that gain you memory, more cards in hand, and play Digimon for free. Akari's effect lets you play a Dorulumon for free from your hand or from underneath your tamers. This activates Dorulumon's On Play effect to reduce one of your opponent's Digimon's DP by 3,000.
This effect can get rid of annoying floodgates like ModokiBetamon that prevent you from gaining memory or the Solarmon that blocks you from playing Digimon from effects. Once you play that Dorulumon, you can suspend Akari to draw a card. The draw effect can be triggered whenever a Xros Heart Digimon is played, meaning Digimon that unsuspend your Tamers, like Shoutmon X4, can get you multiple cards in hand from a 🎶single Tamer.
2 Zenjiro Tsurugi ✅
Just like Akari, Zenjiro Tsurugi's On Play effect allows you to play his Digimon for free. Although Ballistamon does not have a strong On Play effect like Dorulumon, he does become a Blocker as long as there is another Xros Heart card in play. Also, whenever you play a Xros Heart Digimon, Zenjiro gives you a memory back for your troubles. If you do the math correctly, that means that you're playing Zenjiro for two memory.
Zenjiro's memory gain effect also means that whenever you DigiXros into Shoutmon X4, you are effectively playing the card for free, and when combining it with X4's effect to unsuspend a Tamer, lets you cycle through more Xros Heart Digimon or even Shoutmon X5.

Taiki Kudo, just like Kiriha Aonuma, is the most essential piece to their respective deck. Taiki Kudo lets you use any Digimon underneath your Tamers as material for a DigiXros, making Xros Heart a powerful early-game deck. Not only that, but Taiki is also a searcher fo🔥r the deck. He allows you to add a card to your hand and place another underneath him, speeding up your DigiXros set up quite a bit.
The amount of rookies that you can cycle throu🦂gh with their Save effects and with the help of Taiki makes the deck a force to be reckoned with.
