Time Strange♓r is a game nearly a decade in the making.
Aside from a handful of , details on Time Stranger 𒊎have been fairly sparse. A new 🦄interview, however, has revealed more about the setting of the game and its themes, with the game's producer detailing that it will follow a trend set by a PSP title that was released in 2012.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger Has Been Designed To Be Enjoyed By Adults
Speaking to in Japan, Digimon Story: Time Stranger producer Hara Ryosuke detailed his mindset when creat𝐆ing the game, and whether to gear it towards children or adultꦉs.
"I feel that we are no longer in an era where you can simply make something for children," he said. "Even from the c🍰hildren's perspective, I tꦉhink there is a tendency these days to prefer works that are aimed at adults. The Digimon World series and Digimon Survive seem to be enjoyed primarily by people who have been fans of Digimon for a long time."
We thought about creating a work that would be enjoy🎀ed by those who were children back then.
"I think it's a movement that started around the time of the release of Digimon World Re: Digitize for the PSP in 2012," he continued. "The fans who enjoyed Digimon as children are now about this age, so I think the current trend started when we thought about creating a work that would be enjoyed by tho💖se who were children back then."
That doesn't mean that Story: Time Stranger will be abandoning its roots com🀅pletely, though. Typically, the Digimon Story series has been broader in audience scop𝔍e, something that will continue now. "It is a traditional training RPG that is easy for everyone to get into, and it is a work that can be enjoyed even by people who are experiencing Digimon for the first time," said Ryosuke.
The goal is not only to appeal to existing Digimon fans but also to bring the game to potential new fans. "The protagonist is set as a member of the secret organization ADAMAS, but at the beginnin❀g of the story he has no knowledge of Digimon. So we've made it so that players who don't know Digim🥂on can start the game from the same perspective," said the producer.
