State Of Play Reveals Digimon Story: Time Stranger's Release Date
The Long Wait Is Nearly Over
Tonight's State of Play was ful🉐l of out-o𒅌f-nowhere announcements, but a big one was the latest trailer for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. We got to see a bunch of new gameplay foot🦄age for Time Stranger which showed off its promising turn-based RPG gameplay and world, but the best bit came right at the end.
After years of waiting for a proඣper new Digimon game, we now know that we'll be getting it in just a few months time on October 3, which is when Time Stranger is set to launch. , which makes it all feel a lot more real that it's actually going to be in our hands this October.
There was a bit of controversy caused from the announcement, though, as it was confirmed that Time Stranger is going to🌊 be locked at 30fps, for some reason.
The next Digimon game has been in development for such a long time that it was a big surprise to see it finally get a proper releaﷺse date. We've kno🌊wn for some time that it was set to release in 2025, but we finally have a solid release date for it. Now we just have to hope that it can both stick to it and stick the landing.
