The game will bring Dish🍸onored’s steampunk-Gothic setting of the Empire of the Isles to the tabletop, featuring elements from Dishonored, Dishonored 2, and expansions and DLCs.
The game consists of a 300-page hardback rulebook and custom 20-sided dice. Players can either play as a pre-made character, such as the games’ protagonists Emily and Corvo, or create their own character in Dishonored’s setting. In addition to the c༒ombination of stealth and magic that the Outsider gives to the bearers of his mark, players can create explorers, duelists, couriers, or inventors that populate the Empire of thꦡe Isles. So, while players can choose the classic Dishonored stealth and assassination route, there are other playstyle options as well.
Modiphius’s co-founder Chris Burch explained that the game was meant to be for Dishonored fans and RPG fan🐓s alike. He said that Modiphius “designed the game to be really accessible” so that fans of the series, who may have never played tabletop RPGs before, can easily jump into 🌃the game. New players will have an easy time learning the game and creating their character. At the same time, longtime tabletop players will be able to find a lot of enjoyment from the unique world of Dishonored’s Empire of the Isles.
