Private Division's rather interesting looking FPS/RTS hybrid 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Disintegration will be launching on June 16, 2020, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One for $49.99. Created by ex-Bungie devs (who mostly worked on Halo), the game is set in a future where the singularity has been achieved and humanity no longer exists as we know it. People have transferred their consciousnes🍨s to robot bodies and war is breaking out to restore what once was.
The setup might be a little derivative, but the gameplay is what looks to set this apart. Players will control the main character who rides a grav cycle and commands troops on the ground level. The🔴y'll be providing aerial support while a🌜lso dealing with bigger threats at the same time. A unique multiplayer mode incorporates the two systems with traditional FPS game types.
My time with the game at PAX East 2020 was very limited, so I didn't get the best feel for how everything plays out. I did learn some of the secrets behind its design after 168澳洲幸运5开ꦆ奖网:I spoke with the game's lead environmental 𒊎artist, Blake Low. Known for his work on Halo 3 and Destiny, he was pretty jazzed about returning to a smaller scale team and recreating൲ the things he specifically 𓆉loved about Bungie's past.
For anyone worried that this will be open-world or anything like that, you can let out a sigh of relief. Disintegration will be taking things back to the traditional method of single-player campaigns with an 8-10 hour story mode. There will be twists, turns, double-crosses, etc. It's very much cut from the same cloth as Halo.
The team at Private Division is hoping for the game to take off competitively, though. A lot of care has been put into keeping players invested with unlocks and such. There will not b🧸e any microtransactions and all challenges for specific skins will have clearly defined parameters. There's ꦿno random loot drops or excessive grinding needed. Even the DLC will be free.
Everything is pointing towards this being a sleeper hit. It might not take away Halo Infinite's thunder at the end of the yeaℱr, but then it doesn't need to. Players that have grown tired of Microsoft's juggernaut will probably find a lot to love here.
