Disney’s got tons of movies in the works, and their repertoire’s already quite full of classic movies that have come to define modern-day pop culture. Hence, it shouldn’t surprise you if you see a couple of sequels here and there capitalizing on the first movie's success.
Following up on a good movie isn’t impossible tough. There are more than a few fairly decent sequels to the Disney movies you’ve come to know and love that actually deserve some watch time. Sometimes one film just isn’t enough to comple𝓀tely cover all the ideas and potential a movie’s universe can hold.
11 𒁃 Aladdin And The King Of Thieves
The third movie of the franchise is definitely worth a watch if you’re invested in Aladdin as a character and wan🌌t to see him retrace his steps bac🍰k to his roots. You’re introduced to his father, the king of thieves, who’s looking to procure a sacred treasure and interrupts Aladdin’s wedding to Jasmine in the process.
Even though the story isn’t as solid as the first film this ti♉me, it’s st🔯ill rather captivating watching the duo interact with each other and getting to know more about Aladdin in the process.
10 ꦍ The Lion King 1½
If you’re a big fan of the first movie in the series, get ready for a behind-the-scenes look at the film from the perspective of both Timon and Pumba. With some additional scenes, witty dialogue, and ample fourth-wall breaks, it’s certainly one of the most fun sequels Dis🌞ney’s ever cooked up.
It’s entirely narrated by the titular duo and includes pop culture references that might 🀅feel dated now but were hilarious at the time. You even get a backstory for both Timon and Pum🍬ba and learn how they end up where they are when Simba finds them.
9 ෴ Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True ও
This movie is the perfect sequel to if you're wondering what happened to Cinderella after her marriage to the prince and how the rest of the cast went on with their lives after the swift change.
The movie also includes a cute side story with Anastasia falling in love with a baker 🔯and getting some help from Cinderella, thus concluding their toxic relationship with each other. Even Jaq, the mouse, winds up learning how to love himself with all the shortcomings of being small.
8 Kronk’s New Groove ꧂
Kronk's New Groove is a collection of some funny yet heart-warming tales as told by the lovable Kronk. This sequel to The Emperor’s New Groove builds on the last and gives you a glimpse into Izma’s best henchmen’s life after the first movie's events.
The voice acting is superb, and the stories actually feel worth investing in. You get ꦕto see Kronk recount how he lost everything he needed to get sweet approval from his fath𝐆er, and eventually, he regains it all back too.
7 ♊ Atlantis: Milo’s Return

It’s a story revolving around forced marriages and political marriages that left more than a few people th💫roughout history fairly unsatisfied with their circumstances. This leads them to run away from their cushy lives and follow their hearts.
5 🎃 An Extremely G⛄oofy Movie
After what happened in the first film, Goofy should know better than to ham fist himself into Max’s life. However, after losing his job, Goofy decides 🅷to get a degree from the college he enrolled Max in.
As expected, hijinx ensue, and Goofy tries to become a version of himsel🌊f tha❀t Max would approve of in order to not embarrass him by being there. The movie concludes with a loving father-son interaction typical of this comedy brand.
4 The Rescuers Down Under 🍎
With another orphan to rescue from the hands of a renowned poacher looking to hunt down an endangered eagle, the Rescuers set off to do what they do best. Bernard and Miss 🏅Bianca team up a𝄹gain to solve this mystery and endure the grueling process of trying to recover another child.
It’s an endearing tale highlighting environmental conservationism and teaching children to value the surrounding wildli😼fe. The movie is a tad bit slow-🦩paced, but like Spirit, it has a heartwarming conclusion.
3 🐻 Lღeroy And Stitch
With Stitch having fully adjusted to his life on 🃏Earth, he’s suddenly recruited to lead the Galactic Armada as its captain. Unfortunately, that means he must leave Earth with Jumba and Pleakly, who both got what they desirꦅed.
The movie revolves around acceptance and remembrance. The main cast miss their lives on Earth and the family bond they had with Lilo and hence return by the end of it after rescinding their titles.
