There are different quests for unlocking every character that will take you on a nostalgic journey where you'll find the character around the same thing that they're known for. For most 🌼of the characters, you'll have to finish their quests to bring them back to the Dreamlight Vall♚ey.

How To Get Goofy In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Luckily, Goofy is one of the few characters that stayed in the Valley even after many people left. He loves Mickey Mouse, so it's only fair that both of them stayed behind. Sadly, he has also been affected by The Forgetting🎉, and he can't remember much until you help him out.

The quest to unlock Goofy is called Fishing Expedition, and it's a pretty simple one. Through this quest, you will also get the Fishing Rod, which is one of the four Royal Tools in the game. Here are🌸 the steps you need to follow during this quesღt:

• Head over to Peaceful Meadows. You can locate this area by opening your map, it's in the southern direction from your house, and you'll have to clear a few thorns to access the area.
• Once you're in the area, you'll find a Fishing Rod beside the pond. Pick it up and head over to Goofy's house, which is in the middle of the area. It'll be blocked with more thorns that you'll have to clear to gain entry.
• Inside, you'll find Goofy with a sad face that will break your heart. Talk to him and give him the rod you found in the pond, and he'll give you the Royal Fishing Rod in return.

If you're lore hungry, you can head over to Goofy's house before picking up the rod from the pond, as he'll have a different set of dialogue where he will direct you to pick it up anyway.

• After finishing the dialogue and getting the Royal equipment, head outside and start fishing in any pond with ripples. Goofy will most likely follow you during this, but if he doesn't, find him after you've fished once successfully, and you'll see a quest icon on top of his head.

Fishing in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be tricky at first. You have to line the circle up with the ripple in the pond and then press the interaction button at the right time. You'll ha♛ve plenty of time to react to it though, so there's no hurry.

• Next, he'll take you to his broken stall that you need to fix. After the dialogue, a sign with Scrooge McDuck on it will spawn. Scrooge is the builder in Dreamlight Valley, and he'll fix up Goofy's stall for free because it's necessary for the Valley. Although, he will charge you for other constructions.
• Finally, talk to Goofy one last time, and the character will be unlocked for you. Now, you can talk to the character daily to increase your Friendship level. Once your Friendship is level two, you can assign a task to them, which will help you get even closer.

Goofy Friendship Rewards

Your job doesn't end after unlocking a character because increasing their friendship level can get you closer to them and unlock further quest lines with some characters. Besides talking to the character, you can gift them stuff they like or hang out with them and perform the action you selected after reaching level two for a faster level up.

Every day, the characters will have three featured items that will give bonus EXP if you gift them to the character. You can only give a particular item once to g🍌et this bonus, up to three times in total, every d🧸ay.

Apart from the quests, here a💧re the rewards that you will unlock as you become a better friend꧂ to Goofy:

Farming is one of the best methods to increase a character's Friendship. If you want to rush Friendship for a particular character, you can select the farming activity when they reach level two and hang out with them when you rush your crop harvesting.
