Secret Path To Beat Asia Boat Ride
If your goal is to simply get past the Asia Boat Ride area as fast as possible, the first step to doing that is completely ignoring what Gremlin Gus says. Instead of going to the trapped Gremlin on the top of the middle building, you can insteaꦑd go to the area to its left with pink paint around it. You can jump to this area from the middle.
Once you're there, defeat all the Blotlings and activate the gear in the middle to open the door and find a secret Gremlin. When you free this Gremlin, it will rotate a platform nearby and sta💎rt the carpet mechanism for you. You can simply use the stairs on the backside of this part to get to the top and use the carpet to get to the final door.
You'll miss quite a few collectibles if you just use this method to get past the area, though you can still do all this even if you don't intend to rush.
Near the final door, you have to paint the cloud above and the platform to the door's right. T🅺his platform will then s꧟tart going up and down, allowing you to get on the clouds and then jump on the two levers on each side of the door. Once both levers are activated, the doors will open and you can proceed to the next area.
Even if you take this path, you can still get a concept art collectible hidden inside the giant ghost-type cloud in the corner near the exit door. Just thin it out and jump inside to get the Asia Boat Ride a🌟rt.
How To Raise The Fire Bridge
This is the main path that the game incentivizes you to take for beating this area, and it's also the one where you can get four extra collectibles other than the one mentioned above. First, start by turning the gear at the bottom of the middle building, whic♎h will open a platform a🍒llowing you to get to the top.
Free the Gremlin at the top and then the Gremlin on the rotating slide with a bunch of dolls around it. He will ask you to give him 100 E-Tickets to fix the wormhole nearby so your path to the next area can open up. You have two choices at this point﷽:
- Give him the E-Tickets, which will save you some time. Though this isn't recommended in your first playthrough since you'll need quite a lot of these soon enough.
- Find a way to close the wormhole yourself by using the bridge connected to this rotating ride. On the other side, you'll have to beat a time puzzle where you have to activate four gears within ten seconds of each other.
This challenge isn't hard to beat, and you can also get a Bronze Pin in a locked area above this challenge if you beat it.
Once the wormhole has been cleared, you can reach the other area near the rotating ride where you first have to paint the three circular outlines on the left. The platforms will start moving and you can thin them out again when they're horizontally straight. This will let you get 🍒on top of them and activate the lever in the middle, bringing up the fire bridge.
You can get the Fire Bridge concept art on top of it, and you can also find the Asia Boat Ride Decor in a corner at the bottom part right beside the platform with these wheels. Finally, to get the second pin chest in this area, you'll have to ac♉tivate all the circular outlines at the sꦫame time and time your jumps to get to it.
You can use the lever platform in the middle alongside double jump and spin attack to directly get on the third spinning platform and then the chest.
