Of all the action cards in Lorcana, you’ll want to keep an eye on these when building your deck.

10 ꦰ You Have Foꦉrgotten Me

Denying your opponent's resources is important in any card game and in Lorcana, cards like You Have Forgotten Me can be incredibly disruptive, particularly early in a game.

For four ink you𒉰 have your opponents discard two cards from their hand, putting them straight into their discard pile. If an opponent has been setting up for a powerful turn, but you rip the cards right out 🥃of their hand, they’ll have nothing to do on their turn, putting them behind several turns.

9 One Jump Ahead 🍃

This song is an extremely uꦬnique card in Lorcana. For just two ink you can take the top card of your deck and put it directly into your inkwell, though it comes into pl🐠ay exerted.

Few cards let you deal as much damage as Grab Your Sword, a song th✨at lets you deal two damage to each character you don’t control. Two damage might not seem like a ton of damage, but it is fantastic for picking off smaller characters or those who are already damaged.

Since it is a song, you can cast Grab Your Sword for free if you control 💜a character with a cost of five or greater just by exerting that character. If you’re worried about losing your exerted character from your opponent’s challenging it, just make sure you banish everything that could challenge it with Grab Your Sword or any of your own direct challenges.

7 Ransack

A powerful draw effect with a bit of a downside, Ransack has you drawing two cards for just two ink and then discarding two cards. You get to pick and choose which cards you wa💮nt to discard, of course, l𓄧etting you keep the best cards you have.

It is important to remember that Ransack is not actually card advantage, you are going down one in net cards in hand by playing it. But since it's so cheap and has the potential to fuel any discard strategies as the game evolves, it can be a powerhouse in time.

6 Friends On The Other Side 💮

Drawing cards is key to keeping ahead of your opponents and with the song Friends On The Other Side, you have to spend very little resources to do it. For three ink you can plꩲay this action card, drawing two cards from your deck.

Since you can exert a character with a cost of three or more to do it, you can keep your ink open to potentially cast any of the two cards you just drew. You can also use this action card in your inkwell i🤡n a pinch, but it’s put to much better use refilling your hand.

5 ౠ Just In Timꦗe

Using cards to sneak bigger characters into play is one of the best feelings in any card game and ♐wi🐬th Just In Time you get a chance to put a five-cost card from your hand into play.

Now of course, you have to have a five-cost character in your hand to cheat🔴 into play when you use this to make use of it, but if you build your deck right, or take advantage of✨ card draw cards, you’ll be sure to have just the card you need.

4 𒆙 Dragon Fire

Five ink for a spell can be a little more expensive than what you’d like to be spending on an action card, but Dragon Fire is well worth it. This card banishes any character of your choice, sending them straight to the ꧙discard pile as soon as

If banishing just one card isn’t enough for you then Be Prepared is the way to go. For seven ink Be Prep𝔍ared banishes all characters in play, both yours and your opponents.

The great thing about Be Prepared being a song is you can exert a character to sing it for free, keeping all your in🍒k open to play🐟 another character or two into the open board. Be aware that you cannot use this card in your inkwell so if you draw it early on it can just sit in your hand for several turns before being usable.

2 🐼 Develop Your Brain 🐈

Easily the best draw card in the game, Develop Your Brain lets you look at the top two cards of your deck, putting one into your hand while the other goes to the bottom of your deck. And for the cost of just one ink, it's a cheap way to dig through your deck for just the card you need.

You can also use it in your inkwell, but unless the situation is dire ♑drawing cards is almost always going to be 𒅌the better choice.

1 A Whole New World 👍

Drastic times call for drastic measures, and if you’re in need of a whole n🐈ew hand, then A Whole New World is just that card for you. For five ink you and all other players all discard their hands and draw a brand new hand of seven cards.

You need to be careful with A Whole New World since you can potentially be g🐼iving your opponent a whole new hand as well. While you don’t want to h♉elp your opponents, you can make sure to stay ahead by having a five-cost character sing the card for free, leaving your ink open to cast those new cards you just drew.
