Doctor Strange, in many ways, reflects aspects of a player character in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dungeons & Dragons, and not just by making decisions that temporarily destabilize the cosmic balance — what table hasn't been there at one point? Besides memorizing spells and incantations, Doctor Strange utilizes ancient artifacts to enhance his capabil🌄ities.

For players, an intrinsic aspect of your character gaining power also relies on magical items, providing you with additional spells, ability improvements, and other unique abilities. But what if... your character stumbled upon some of Doctor Strange's treasures? Of course, Fifth Edition doesn't include Sling Rings or Infinity Stones, but a little creative interpretation can turn a Magnificent Mansion into a Sanctum Sanctorum in no time.

8 Cloak of Levitation (Carpet of Flying) 🎉

Doctor Strange needs a cape, and if you plan on taking on the guise, you will need one too. The sorcerer's cape isn't just a fashion statement, so yours can't be either. It grants its wearer the ability of flight, and has a modicum of sentience.

The Carpet of Flying is challenging to get your hands on, as it's pretty rare to come across, but its size variant of 3ft by 5ft is a near perfect fit for the Cloak of Levitation. Not only is it the correct size to rest on your shoulders when not in use, but the item description doesn't specify how you have to ride it — so it can remain on your back while granting you a blinding flight speed of 80ft per turn. It doesn't require attunement, so anyone can use it, and as long as you're within 30ft of the carpet, you can command it where to go. All perfect for dramatically saving your friend when they fall from a deathly height.

7 Sling Ring (Helm of Teleportation) 𓃲 🐬

The Sling Ring is exclusive to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel Cinematic Universe, but since its debut, it has become an iconic addition to any Mystic Art's Masters toolkit. With the Sling Ring equipped, a wave of your hand allows you to teleport to virtually anywhere you can imagine. You even have the ability to cross through dimensions — although It's safe to assume the ladder ability is reserved for masters, like the Ancient One.

Teleportation, and interdimensional travel, aren't necessarily rare in Fifth Edition, although spells that offer such power are reserved for higher levels. However, the Helm of Teleportation grants this ability without the need for spells, and captures the frequency and flexibility that a Sling Ring provides. The item requires attunement, and you'll want to flavor it as a ring, but it grants the wearer three charges of the 7th-Level spell Teleportation. With it, you can instantly move up to eight people to a specified location, as long as it's on the same plane of existence. Sure, you can't use it to free yourself from the Mirror Dimension, but you and your friends can make a dramatic entrance into a villain's lair à la Avenger's Endgame, ready to kick some butt.

6 💧 The Yellow Sash (Rope ⛎of Climbing)

In the comics, Strange frequents an artifact that has yet to appear on the big screen, but it's one many longtime fans of the superhero hope to see. The sorcerer chose form and function with his stylish yellow sash around his waist. It extends to incredible lengths, aidi🧸ng in climbing heights and grappling foes who attempt to give chase.

A Rope of Climbing is made from silk, a material you'd expect for a garment, and it responds to your commands — whether flying up to 60ft away to tie to an object, unknotting itself, or coiling back up. The rope's description specifies that it can cling to objects, but not whether those objects can't be occupied, so there's also the chance to snatch an enemy's weapon from their hand. This item doesn't require attunement, and even comes with its own regenerating health and a sizable armor class to boot.

5 🐎 Eye of Agamotto (Gem of Seeing)

Though the Time Stone no longer resides within the Eye of Agamotto, the talisman is still incredibly powerful. Said to be the third eye of the Vishanti Agamotto, it grants a wielder of good intentions the ability to see the truth — whether that's being magically obscured by an illusion or manipulated by a deceitful adversary.

Various forms of sight can be achieved by player characters, depending on specific class abilities 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:or racial traits. The reigning champion of these visual variants is known as truesight. With it, you can see invisible creatures, resist and reveal illusory magic, perceive the true form of shapechangers, retain perfect vision in normal and magical darkness, and look beyond into the ethereal plane. Many of these boons are granted by the Eye of Agamotto, and a Gem of Seeing will do the same, three times a day, to whoever attunes themselves to it. Also, there's no need to be a good egg to wield the gem.

4 🌞 Orb of🍃 Agamotto (Crystal Ball)

In the MCU, the Orb of Agamotto is rather large and rests inside the Kamar-Taj, monitoring the planet's defenses. In the comics, Doctor Strange regularly uses the Orb, which looks more like a floating globe of Earth, scrying on various dimensions, including his own, for potential threats.

You can cast the 5th-level spell Scrying with a Crystal Ball, allowing you to remotely view a person (or place's) activity, provided you're both on the same plane of existence. It doesn't precisely match the Orb of Agamotto's full potential, but it's mobile and offers a wildly helpful spell. Like a Carpet of Flying, a Crystal Ball is hard to come by, but using your final attunement slot to gain its power will complete your character's transformation into Doctor Strange.

3 ☂ 🌌 Book of Cagliostro (Demonomicon of Iggwilv)

Many will recognize the Book of Cagliostro from Doctor Strange's debut movie in the MCU. It was a tome within the Kamar-Taj that Kaecilius absconded with to draw power from the Dark Dimension.

In Dungeons & Dragons, magical items that are one of a kind, like the Book of Cagliostro, are categorized as artifacts. To capture the forbidden powers that reside within, such as summoning entities from an evil plane, you'll need to acquire the Demonomicon of Iggwilv. Although its original lore is very much tied to the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, it calls upon the power of demonic entities, granting the attuned a series of spells to summon and bind fiends. It also allows you to travel to the Abyss, a plane much like the Dark Dimension in that it isn't Hell per se, but a close second.

2 Book of the Vishanti (Book of Exalted Deeds) 🦩 ꧟

Doctor Strange reads a massive book while floating in the air

Recently revealed in the Multiverse of Madness, the Book of the Vishanti is a spellbook frequented by Doctor Strange in the comics and will most likely return to the MCU. The spellbook was penned by Agamotto, and contains powerful "order magic" that can counteract the powers of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:its counterpart, the Darkhold.

The Book of Exalted Deeds is described as a "definitive treatise on all that is good in the multiverse." It was penned by nu▨merous authors who describe﷽ events of true virtue and offer guidance on vanquishing evil. Attuning yourself to the book provides you with a wide range of varying benefits, from the possibility of superhuman skills to that of high-level spells you may not otherwise be able to cast. It empowers spells from the cleric and paladin classes, which align with "order" type magic, and even has its own evil counterpart.

1 The Darkhold (Book of♊ Vile Darkness)

the scarlet witch conjures chaos from a magic book

The Darkhold is the antithesis to the Book of the Vishanti, penned by the Elder God Chthon and containing spells and works of utter darkness and evil. Has your version💧 of Doctor Strange been forced to employ the powers within the tome?

If the answer is "yes," then hunt down the Book of Vile Darkness. Like the Darkhold, its author is a lich-god named Vecna, and within its pages are "every example of the blackest magic he came across or devised." But be warned, this book entirely alters your physical appearance and alignment, and corrupts the physical world around you. However, you do become insanely powerful, and sometimes, that's all that matters. Keep in mind that your actions could upset the grand calculus of the multiverse.
