While the trailer is short and sweet, it's packed full of references for fans. As well as the aforementioned baddies, we can see that we'll get to cruise around in the Tardis and fight using the sonic screwdriver. Perhaps most excitingly however, it's managed to bag both Jodie Whittaker and David Tennant to voice The Doctor. We can even briefly hear their voices in the reveal.

Being in first-person, some of the gameplay looks downright unnerving. Many of the areas we'll explore look dark and deserted, needing a torch to find our way around. Pair this with the inclusion of the Weeping Angels, and The Edge of Reality looks set to recreate that childhood feeling of hiding behind the sofa during the scarier episodes.

Commenting on the trailer's release, a representative from the developer says the game will be focussed on "story, puzzles and exploration".
