5 Balloon𝓡y - A Good Starter

Perks

  • Healing

Balloony is your first companion. You get him automatically after the introduction sequence of arriving at school and joining the tournament. Balloony's abilities are all passive and benefit the whole team. He's the only character who's this passive in combat and out of combat.

The 💫absolute best thing about Balloony is his ability to heal the entire team while in battle. If you can keep him and everyone else alive, Balloony will be able to gradually heal the team with his Balltimate and focus ability. His Balltimate creates an AOE 🐼zone for healing. His focus ability heals the team a bit.

It's easy to acquire food or go to the Infirmary when not in battle. When you are in battle, all those delicious snacks you purchased for healing cannot be used. This is why it's important to have Balloony out on the field.

4 Mina - She's Electric

Perks

  • Shock damage
  • Ricochet
  • Strength increase

Mina is the second companion you get in Dodgeball Academia. She's known for being a wild and hazardous person. Players can find her at the beginning of the game alongside Balloony when trying to enter the tournament for the first time.

Mina's elemental power is electricity. By charging her throw or using her Balltimate, you can inflict shock damage to enemies. When using her Balltimate, you don't have to make sure you press the trigger when in front of an enemy. Once you activate the Balltimate, you can aim freely regardless of what your previous position was. This makes her Balltimate more efficient to use.

Aside from those abilities, you have her counterattack. Instead of catching a dodgeball when it comes to you, you can ricochet it as Mina. Otto normally catches it, but Mina will kick the ball back into the enemy instead, using the same button you would as Otto. This deals extra damage. By controlling Mina, you'll have easy access to extra damage without needing to think or aim.

Perks

  • Strength increase
  • Baseball bat
  • Requires skill

Suneko is the third companion in Dodgeball Academia. After playing through the game a bit and getting to Episode 3, you'll run into Suneko. She has hidden talents and is a tough cookie to crack.

Suneko's focus ability increases the team's strength the same way that Mina's does. The only difference is that while your strength goes up thanks to Suneko, your defense will go down. You're supposed to lose some to get some with Suneko. Apart from that, she too can throw dodgeballs back at enemies to deal extra damage. Where Mina kicks balls back, Suneko bats them back using her baseball bat.

Using Suneko's baseball bat requires more skill. You have to charge up her swing before the ball hits you and then let go at the right time. The alternative, as seen by playing Otto, is pressing the counterattack button as soon as the ball is in your face.

2 Shoy - A Pet Equipped With ﷺAn Explosive Pa෴yload

Perks

  • Unlock chests
  • Homing missiles
  • Tornado

Shoy is the furry companion no one wanted but everyone needed. By unlocking him in Episode 5, you'll be able to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:use his✃ claws to unlock chained chests. Using dodgeballs around the map, you're able to knock open trash cans and chests to find loot. Some of these chests are chained up and a simple dodgeball won't work. That's where Shoy comes in handy.

When Shoy charges his throw, it starts homing in on the target. This is helpful if you're going against an enemy that seems to constantly move away or dodge your ball. This charged throw will follow the enemy until it hits something. Shoy's Balltimate unleashes a large tornado onto the enemy court and will reach all four corners. This is definitely one of the cooler-looking Balltimates.

1 ꧅ Kyabo - The Basketball Bully

Dodgeball Academia Cubo and kyabo

Perks

  • Basketball moves
  • Being cool

Kyabo has been around since the beginning but was never seen as a worthy prospect due to the constant pounding and bullying he did. In Epis𝓰ode 6, Kyabo has a change of heart and decides to join Otto and the gang.

Most of Kyabo's moves look similar to playing basketball. Kyabo dribbles his ball on the court and on enemies' faces. His charged throw causes each ball to rain down from the sky. This can be trickier to aim with than other charged throws that are launched horizontally instead of vertically. His Balltimate dribbles multiple balls onto the chosen enemy's head obliterating their health.
