10 🍸 Swanky Kong
Most Kongs typically care more about bananas, but the elusive and multi-costumed Swanky Kong is one family member with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:far more expensive tastes. Swanky originally appears as a game show host in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest as a way to get extra banana coins, and again in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble as a carnie hosting similarly rewarded games.
Besides appearing as a support spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Swanky has hardly appeared in any Nintendo games.🌳 Nonetheless, his taste in clothing is one of the most unique among the Kong family, and he’d be a welcome return if he were t𒅌o show up again.
9 Baby Donkey Kong ♔
While many people could recognize Donkey Kong Jr. or Diddy Kong as the younger members, Donkey Kong also has his own uniquely younger self in the form of Baby Donkey Kong. This miniature version was introduced in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yoshi’s Island DS, which featured several other infant versions of Mario🗹 Characters like Baby Peach and Baby Wario.
Besides his origin, Baby Donkey Kong’s only other appearance was in Mario Super Sluggers, joining the baseball league with a ba🐎nana bat. With Mario Kart’s huge selection o🌌f baby characters, it’s greatly surprising that this adorable Kong was never brought back.
8 Chunky Kong 🔴 𓂃
Chunky Kong may not be greatly unknown of Kong, being a playable character in Donkey Kong 64 and having a verse in the famous DK Rap. What might ♏surprise you more is that, aside from this appea𒅌rance, Chunky has hardly been seen anywhere else in Nintendo History.
He hasn’t been erased, but Chunky’s only trace of existence since the 1990s has been as a trophy and sticker in several Super Smash Bros. games. For a Kong with such a large original presence, his mu❀scular presence is sorely missed.
7 ♊ Candy 🐭Kong
Candy Kong is another originally popular Kong that has mostly disappeared over the years, originally acting as Donkey Kong’s love interest. While she’s never been playable, she had some light presence in the SNES games and would eventually run the musical instrument shops in Donkey Kong 64.
With her conventionally attractive appearance, Candy Kong is likely not around because she was very much the product of her time. Much like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Crash Bandicoot’s original girlfriend Tawna🃏, female versions of characters have grown to be far more diversely designed, and it’s probably for the best t𝓀hat this Kong takes a backseat.
6 Tiny Kong
Tiny Kong is far from a lesser-known ape, debuting alongside Chunky on the Nintendo 64. W🍃hat many often forget is that, unlike most Kongs, Tiny actually grew up from a child to a teenager over her appearances.
Rather than the small girl she originally was, Tiny now resembles Candy Kong more than her original childish self, and shows up in a small handful of spinoff games. This particular appearance first debuted in the Nintendo DS version of Diddy Kong Racing, likely to be more distinct from Diddy Kong an🍒d Dixie Ko𒁏ng.
5 Sumo Kong
This circular ape is one of several rare Kongs that appear as the bosses in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. The others include Dread Kong, Karate Kong, and Ninja Kong, but none of them have the round and l🍒oꦅvable appearance of Sumo Kong.
This doughy gorilla is one of only are few chubby Kongs, but this one hasn’t shown up elsewhere in the Donkey Kong series, or in any other Nintendo games for♔ that matter. With this much time past his debut, it's safe to assume that he's unlikely🧸 to return.
4 ꦑ Wrinkly Kong ꧟
Much like how Tiny Kong has visibly aged before our eyes, Wrinkly Kong has also experienced the passage of time by eventually becoming deceased. Originally she appeared as a teacher and save-point in a few , but her ghostly form showed up as a tutorial character in other Donkey Kong games throughout the 2000s.
Despite her current deceased status, she’s made a surprisingly large number of appearances. While she’s usually just an NPC, she’s also had her fair share of actions as a playable character in both Donkey Kong Barrel Blast and DK: King of Swing, bein꧙g more active in death than she ever was in life.
3 🎃 Kiddy Kong
Kiddy Kong is another playable Kong that has essentially disappeared, being Dixie Kong’s sidekick in Donkey Kong Country 3. Compared to Baby Donkey Kong, his appearance is far more baby-like wᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚith a pacifier and an ill-fitting onesie, and 𓂃his wide toothless smile just adds to his child-like features.
Between those two baby Kongs, it’s cleaไr that Kongs as young as them are just not what the Kong family is about anymore. Perhaps like Tiny, though, we could potentially see a grown-up version of 👍Kiddy Kong somewhere down the line.
2 The Manky Kongs 🉐
While these monsters in the original Donkey Kong Country seem like terrifying monsters, they are indeed loosely related to the Kong family. Supposedly, King K. Rool took them in after the Kongs banished them for poor behavior and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:frightening appearance, and were ꦇhappy to fight their heroic former relatives.
Given their sharp teeth and monstrous nature as enemies, it’s no surprise that they were exiled. None of them have ever been named specifically besides their generalized Manky title, but perhaps someday they will be revisited in💮 future games.
1 Bink
Wrinkly is not the only undead Kong, but she’s certainly the only one with an understood history. The most mysterious and rare family member is Bink, a mobile talking skeleton that appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, hosting a minigame𝔉 that involves sorting multicoloredꦜ barrels.
There is no known lore about Bink in any other game and he’s only made this singular appearance, but with his monkey-like a🉐ppearance and affection for barrels means he’s undoubtedly a Kong. However, the 3DS remake of the game changed his appearance to look more like a skeletal sailor, so🀅 his relation to the Kongs might forever remain a mystery.
