168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Doom Eternal just got its big 6.66 update today, bringinꦜg an all-new horde mode and a revamped Battlemode to the game. And it also brought what appears to be a tribute to the late Frieza voice actor, Chris Ayres.

In the update documentation, Bethesda revealed Battlemode 2.0's new unlockable rewards including several new icons, banners, and skins. One of those skins just happens to turn the Archvile demon into a pretty convincing Frieza.

It’s a little m༺ore sharp and pointy than the traditional Frieza forms, but the purple arms and legs, along with the purple stripe on the skull, certainly seems very Frieza-y. that this Frieza Archvile skin is likely a reference to Chris Ayres, the voice actor who played Frieza for almost a de🥃cade in various Dragon Ball cartoons, movies, and video games.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ayres passed away last week at the 🌠age of 56 after a long battle with pulmonary disease. His girlfriend and fellow voice actor Krystal Laporte made the announcement on Twitter, confirming that he passed peacefully with his clos✤e family by his side.

Apparently, someone over at Bethesda 🙈is a Dragon Ball fan since Frieza is now immortalized as an angry demon♕.

While Frieza Archvile is easily the coolest new addition to Doom Eternal, Battlemode 2.0 is full of surprises. A new win-loss tra🧸cker now pits demons and slayers on hot streaks against one another in a new streak-based matchmaking system. Hot streaks determine your rank and leaderboard position, with both Demonꩵs and Slayers receiving their own Hot Streak trackers.

There's also a brand new demon to contend with. The Dread Knight is an aggressive, melee-focused demon with swords for arms, although be prepared for its energy wave ranged projectile and leap attacks. You can also get a new skin for the Dread Knight as part of Battlemode's new unlockable rewards.

Update 6.66 is aꦕvailable now for Doom Eternal players on all platforms.
