No video game demons are complete without their bosses. After all, someone's gotta facilitate their demonic hazard pays or 401K's from Hell, especially with a protagonist like Doomguy running around. For that matter, the DOOM series has had its fair share of terrifying boss demons whom the mini fodder demꦰons al♚l look up to for help whenever the Doomguy starts bullying them around.

After all, you can only make demons so terrifying-- sooner or later, you're gonna have to unleash Satan or someone similar after a while to shake things up. Throughout more than 25 years of DOOM, the franchise has introduced progressively demonic bosses with the latest game, DOOM: Eternal even bringing in old favorites. To see just how satanic DOOM's developers have gotten over the years, here are the most biblically horrifying bosses of the DOOM games.

10 😼 DOOM HUNTE🍃R

The Doom Hunter is the very first boss you'll encounter in DOOM: Eternal and it's specifically made to combat ; this is ironic since the Doom Slayer was specifically made to combat demons so it's a never-ending loop. The Doom Hunter is but a mere a☂ttempt of the Hell Priests to try and stop the raging Doom Slayer.

How did they fare? Pretty bad to be honest. The Doom Hunter is a clunky amaওlgam of a rotting demon and cybernetics. The only thing that makes it menacing is the shield. However, ꦬyou can't deny that the initial shock and awe from such a boss that was tailor-made to defeat you is unsettling until you actually get to fight it.

9 ▨ 🌄 THE GLADIATOR

Giant bipedal muscular goats certainly fit in with the demon iconography, and the Gladiator displays all those demonic traits with flying colors. It's a horned💞 and hooved half-beast half-... something else that carries a giant shield and a giant spiked flail. It's only instinct is to fight and destroy anything in an arena.

It just so happens that that person is you in DOOM: Eternal. It's a fun fight overall that requires patience and proper management of your aggression (which is already quite hard to do in a game like DOOM). To add to how menac🔯ing this demon is, his shield is also a sentient demonic th🐬ing that has actual eyes you can stab.

8 🥀 GUARDIAN OF HELL

The name says it all though "guardian" and "hell" appear to be a bit of an oxymoron. Nevertheless, the Guardian of Hell is one mean and terrifying boss to behold in DOOM 3. It'sꦗ basically a Hell Knight but with forward-facing horns and two flaming morning stars for fists because who needs utensils when you can just chomp down your victims like an alligator.

We all know just how menacing Hell Knights or even Barons of Hell can be as DOOM fans, so a boss that looks like a more jacked-up and mutilated version of either is just evocative of how serious it is. In hindsight, the fight isn't actually that h🦩ectic or nerve-wracking, but the lighting makes the Guardian of Hell appear more da🍷ngerous than he is, 5/5 for showmanship.

7 VAGARY

Spiders are scary even if you have no arachnophobia and the developers at id Software know this all too well. That's why they probably decided to include the gruesome Vagary, a grotesque boss for DOOM 3 which♕ is pretty much the centaur equivalent of a spider and a d🌸emon.

For an added fear factor, the very first time you encounter the Vagary is by walking into her nest like a total idiot. She also makes wheezing and hissꦏing noises that will make her appear hungry or angry, or both. To make matters worse, the arena you fight her in is a bit on the small side.

6 MALEDICT

It has wings, a skull for a head, and lives in a fiery depths of Hell. You can't get more demonic than that but wait, it can also open its mouth and reveal the disembodied head of Dr. Malcolm Betruger, the evil scientist/antagonist of DOOM 3. That makes this fight all the more freaky.

The Maledict also serves as the final boss of the Resurrection of Evil expansion for DOOM 3. As for the fight itself? It's of biblical proportions since it's the final one in the expansion. Lots of fire and meteors flying around like its judgment day.🅠 Thankfully, it's not too har♏d and the boss doesn't have too many gimmicks other than the talking human head in its mouth.

5 ༺ MOTHER DEMON

The Mother Demon is the final boss of DOOM 64 and appears less aggressive than the usually masculine demons with horns and steroid rages. Make no mistake, however, the Mother Demon is worthy of being the final boss of DOOM 64. She will make quick work of any player foolish enough to not have any tactic other than 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:firing a weapon.

She also has this habit of unleashing her "children" upon you before the fight happens; this can drain🔴 your ammunition quickly if you're not too conservative or you lack restraint. Saving up all your BFG💜 for the fight can make it a breeze.

4 𓆏 SPIDER MASTERMIND

DOOM 2016 served as the perfect reboot of the franchise but you can't deny the fact that one of 🌌it🥀s biggest weaknesses were the boss fights. Of all its three boss fights, however, the final and most difficult of them all the with the Spider Mastermind or Spiderdemon, though it only has four legs and really shouldn't count as an arachnid.

In any case, the Spider Mastermind is one heck of a fight given all its arena gimmicks and of course, its horrid appearance. From the bulging brain alone, you know that it's a smart and devious creature and throws plenty of tricks at you in the final boss fight. This boss is also one of the classics and has existed in the original DOOM game as well.

3 MARAUDER

Sometimes a boss doesn't have to be🅺 a huge hulking mass of muscle, blood, and hydraulics to be considered demonic. It can be something as subtle as another Doom Slayer succumbing to the demonic corruption and turning into something as badass as you are but with an angsty heavy metal battle axe and horns.

We're talking about the Marauder from DOOM: Eternal. It was such a cool demon design that the developers decided to turn the initial encounter with it into a boss fight and right🌄fully so. The Marauder is a pain in the rear to deal with as it's as fast, angry, and cunning as you are. It's more than a match for Doomguy, but thankfully, you don't get to fight more than one at a time.

2 ♍ CYBERDEMON

If the demons of DOOM ever wanted to elect a poster boy (or girl) to represent all of them then it would likely be the Cyberdemon. This is a boss or a major demon who has appeared in nearly every major DOOM title (Except DOOM II). It'▨s a tall, horned, and hulking demon who's also a cyborg and is typically one of the toughest dem🐼ons available,

It was the first boss in DOOM 2016 and the final boss in DOOM 3 and the most powerful non-boss enemy in the original DOOM. It's appearance typically commands one common reaction from the players: to run away from it while firing rockets or ♛the BFG because it pack🐼s as much firepower as you do.

1 ICON OF൲ SIN 𓆉

Here we, the ultimate demon of them all, the towering Icon of Sin. They are some of the oldest demons in existence and are also called Titans. They can only be killed using a specific weapon which is fitting as they only𝓀 appear during an impending apocalypse.

The Icon of Sin was also the final boss of DOOM II and was given an update as the final boss as well in DOOM: Eternal with more armor, more size, and a nastier set of attacks♑ that will challenge your ripping and tearing. As far as demon designs go, the Icon o💯f Sin is the most obvious end result of id Softwares rituals; it's still no match for Doomguy, though.
