If you happen to be a vocalist with an affinityꦛ for the genre of heavy metal, you might just be able to jo🎃in DOOM Composer Mick Gordon’s new heavy metal choir.
In a posted on his , ⛄the composer expressed the need for heavy metal vocalists to enlist in his heavy metal choir, which he is putting together to use in a video game project that he is currently working on.
"Now, to the best of my knowledge, I don't think this has ever been do⛦ne before,” Gordon says in the recruiting video. “Therefore, I figured the best way to do this would be to send out an open invitation to any metal screamers out there who want to apply to join our heavy metal choir.”
There are a few things to consider⛎ if you are looking to qualify for the choir. First, you will need to fill out🔯 the application form . Along with the application, you will also need to submit a link to a “demo that best demonstrates your k🍸iller metal voice.” In other words, this is not a competition. Gordon is just looking for seriou🔯sly talented metal vocalists.
A few other points, as listed on the entry form:
- You must be able to travel to Austin, Texas, for a recording session in the first week of Marc🌱h🌳 2019.
- You must be over 18 years old.
- This is not a free gig. You will be paid and you will receive a credღit.
- You will have until the 1st of February 2019 to su✨bmit your demo.
Gordon doesn’t give any insight into what his “video gamꦿe project” actually entails, but it wouldn’t exactly be a stretch to imagine that DOOM Eternal has something to do with the creation of the heavy metal choir, especially considering he composing for the upcoming Bethesda title.
Not only that, but 🍃the website link to the application form includes the numbers of “666,” which is a number associated with Satan. With the Doom franchise essentially centered around the idea of🅷 fighting demons within a setting of "Hell on Earth" (which was also the title of the 1994 sequel), it i🍷s pretty easy to put the pieces together.
