There was some concern that this year might see a lapse in involvement thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Valve’s most recent announcement regarding The International 10 and it seems increasingly likely that we won’t get one until at least 2021.
But Dota 2’s players once again rose to the challenge and ensured that The International 10, wh𝓀enever it does happen, will have the largest prize pool in esports history. And since the prize pool isn’t set until the tourn✨ament actually happens, the upcoming International is likely to be far larger than expected.
