Whether they are a past party member or an NPC, these returns helped connect the three games together while serving as treats for players that have stuck around since the beginning. It also helps that some of these 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:characters' fates are tied to major decisions, which assists in making theꦦm all the more important.

10 Teagan

Teagan in all three games

Teagan first appeared in Origins and won people over with how he saw through Loghain's lies about the fate of King Cailan. He also scored some points by standing with the people of Redcliffe and assisting in the final battle against 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the darkspawn and Archdemon.

He makes a small cameo appearance in Dragon Age 2, but his next major role comes in Inquisition's Trespasser DLC. Unlike Origins, he is against you a bit as he desperately wants to dissolve the Inquisition feeling that they have grown too powerful. You can't deny that he doesn't fight for what he thinks is right.

9 Loghain

Loghain in Origins and Inquisition

Loghain is the secondary🔯 antagonist of the first game who left King Cailan and the Grey Wardens to die at Ostagar because they wanted help from Orlais. This indirectly☂ causes a civil war in Ferelden as he does some truly devious things throughout the game.

He can be executed for his crimes, but it is possible to spare and redeem him by making him a Grey Warden himself. Should he survive the game's finale, Loghain makes a surprise return in Inquisition, where he somehow looks younger, as Hawke's inside man in the wardens to figure out how they're connected to Corypheus.

8 Anders

Anders in the Awakening DLC for Origins and in the second

Believe it or not, Dragon Age 2's Anders did actually appear in Origins. In that game, he was a party member in the Awakening DLC. During the add-on's opening, he's first encountered as an apostate mage hiding out in the keep. As he is about to be arrested by templars, you conscript him into the Grey Wardens and thus save him.

In the sequel, he runs a free medical clinic in Kirkwall's Darktown, where he helps the poor and desperate. He has a deep hatred for templars and is now bonded with a spirit of vengeance that was originally one of justice. Love or hate him, Anders plays an instrumental role in the plot and certainly changes Thedas forever by the end of the game.

7 Merrill

Merrill in Origins and 2

Anders isn't the only Dragon Age 2 mage that also appeared in Origins. The Dalish elf Merrill also appeared in that game, and unlike Anders, she appears in the main game. She shows up as a temporary companion in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Dalish elf origin. She is seen only then, helping you find your pal Tamlen after he went missing following an encounter with a♉n Eluvian.

This sparks Merrill's interest in the mirror, which doesn't go over well with her Dalish clan. She then becomes a part of Hawke's group in Dragon Age 2 and even references the Dalish elf origin in the game.

6 Flemeth

Flemeth in all three Dragon Age games

The infamous Witch of the Wilds. Flemeth is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a powerful mage that has been alive for centuries and has played a major role in all three games. In Origins, she saves you and A✨listair from being overwhelmed by darkspawn and sends her daughter, Morrigan, to help out with combating the Blight.

In the second game, she also saves the main character by helping the Hawke family and Aveline escape from Lothering in exchange for a favor, a favor Hawke eventually accomplishes. She turns up again in Inquisition, where it's revealed she has the spirit of the old elven goddess, Mythal, inside her. This explains her connection to Solas in that post-credit scene.

5 Alistair

Alistair in Origins, as king in 2, and as a Grey Warden in Inquisition

Alistai🎉r is the first permanent party member you meet in Origins (if you haven't encountered the dog companion yet). A former Templar has a noble and righteous personality with the occasional witty remark, making him a fun character in the Grey Wardens.

It's revealed later on that he is the bastard child of the late King Maric, the father of Cailan. This means that Alistair can end up becoming King of Ferelden, stay a Grey Warden, or end up becoming a wandering drunk if Loghain is spared and he's not hardened.

In the sequel, he makes a small cameo in one of these roles at different parts in the story when Hawke gets to meet him, and in the third game, he shows up as King again if you helped the mages or as Hawke's Grey Warden ally if he remained one.

4 Morrigan

Morrigan in Origins and Inquisition

A mysterious character from the first time we meet her, Morrigan has cemented her role as an integral part of the Dragon Age universe. In the first game, she is with you for most of the game, but on the eve of the final battle, she reveals that there is a way to save the warden from dying when slaying the Archdemon. Regardless of your choice, she will leave you u🧜ntil you can try to get a💖nswers from her in the Witch Hunt DLC.

She finally does make her comeback in Inquisition as the mage helper to Empress Celene of Orlais. After you stop the plot to kill Orlais's leader, Morrigan comes to Skyhold 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:to help the Inquisition and assists in the last fight against Corypheus. She leaves the group in the game's epilogue, but we haven't seen the last of her yet.

3 Leliana

Leliana in all 3 games

A fan-favorite character, Leliana appears in all three games and plays a major role in Thedas. In Origins, she was a chantry sister who was an Orlesian bard that joined your party after having a vision from the Maker. She makes a small cameo in Dragon Age 2 where it's revealed she's working with Cassandra Pentaghast, the person interrogating Varric. But we wouldn't find out what they were planning until Inquisition.

In that game, she reforms the Inquisition with Cassandra after the death of divine Justinia V and the opening of the Breach. She then serves as the group's spymaster throughout the story. Depending on your actions, Leliana can even end up becoming the new divine, making her arguably the most powerful person in Thedas.

2 Varric

Varric in Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition

The best storyteller in the land, Varric is a master marksman and charmer that oozes charisma. Though he operates the occasional shady dealing, he is loyal to his friends. This is hammered in during the beginning of Dragon Age 2 as he's willing to lie and put himself at risk to protect Hawke.

He returns as a party member again in the next entry, where he is the same old dwarf we knew before. By the Trespasser DLC, he is now the viscount of Kirkwall and likely won't return in Dragon Age 4. The guy will truly be missed, but he will have plenty of fantastic tales to tell.

1 Hawke

Male Hawke in Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition

The protagonist of Dragon Age 2, Hawke, proved to be a person capable of shifting the balance of powers around them. You know they're important from the get-go, and you get to relive their journey from lowly refugee to influential Champion of Kirkwall.

Hawke comes back in the third game, where it is revealed Varric knew where they were all along. Hardened by everything that has happened, Hawke lends their assistance to you by helping out with Corypheus and his connection to the Grey Wardens. There is a chance they could die in the game, which will hit you and your companions hard, illustr🧜ating theꦛir impact on everyone around them.
