Despite being development in for quite a while now, we still don't have a release date for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. We've had leaks, trailers, and a couple of official blog posts from BioWare, but when it comes to a release date, everything has been quiet on that front. That could potentially change pretty soon though, as an industry insider has claimed that BioWare and EA are aiming for a Summer 2024 release window at the earliest.
This is according to reputable insider Jeff Grubb, who talked about the recent layoffs at BioWare that removed around a fifth of the developer's workforce on the most recent episode of Game Mess Mornings. Grubb states that the internal release dat🎃e for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was originally set for September at some point before being pushed back to March 2024. Grubb is now claiming that this date has been pushed back yet again, and that Dreadwolf now has an internal release window of Summer 2024.
"It is not coming out until Summer 2024 at the earliest at this point, and this is not them talking publicly," says Grubb. "This is just from my reporting so if it moves again, don't be surprised at the least, because I think it's very likely it gets moved back even further. I expect this game probably to launch at the end of next year".
Of course, these recent layoffs could have potentially affected things at BioWare, and it sounds like Grubb is pretty confident that date is going to be changed yet again. Fifty workers is a lot of people to suddently lose, and as much as BioWare claims it won't affect development, it's difficult to imagine how it won't.
If Dragon Age: Dreadwolf does stick to its vague release window of Summer 2024, then we can likely expect at least a release window at this year's Game Awards showcase. The first trailer for the title was shown off at The Game Awards 2020, back when it was just titled Dragon Age 4, so it makes sense for the title to have a full blown gameplay/release window reveal there too. Like Grubb says, that isn't set in stone, and it sounds like things are still up in the air at BioWare at the moment, but it's nice to have at least a tentative date to stick in our calendars.
