As explained in a new , EA changed the name because it wanted to emphasise that you and your companions, not your enemies, "are the heart of 🦂this new experience". That being said, the once titular Dread Wolf "still 💙has an important part in this tale".

We don't have long left to wait now before we get our first look at Veilguard in action, as the gameplay reveal will be held just next Tuesday.
