At the beginning of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the Divine dies.168澳洲幸运5开奖网: The choice of who will replace her is one that looms over the player throughout most of the game. The main choices are Leliana and Cassandra (witꦯh Vivienne being a possible third option for those who dig a little deeper).

Who players elect as the next Divine is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a big choice to make, and one that is often debated.

10 ♎ 🎀 Leliana: Thedas Needs Progressive Change

Leliana in Chantry.

Leliana is the most progressive choice for Divine. She wants equality for all. To her, 𒁏the Chantry should love more than non-magical humans, but also Dwarves, Elvꦑes, Qunari, and mages.

She wants to force for a ton of change, but these are changes that a lot of fans want to see. However, some fans find that Leliana's force of change ma𝔍y just ꦆfurther throw Thedas into chaos.

9 ౠ Cassandra: Thedas Needs Stability 😼

Cassandra be📖lieves that change is not something to be forced, but something to slowly work toward. Unlike Leliana, Cassandra would be a Divine that puts stability before progress.

A lot of fans are attracted to this idea, as much of Thedas is alread🌳y in chaos. To add a rapidly changing Chantry to the pile may cause another war or crusade at worst. With Cassandra on top♈, that can be avoided.

8 Leliana: Pro-Mage 🌃

While Cassandra is a stable choice, stability won't get mages their freedom (at least not anytime soon). Leliana makes it clear from the beginning that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:she sides with the mage rebellion.

With her as Divine, she will enforce that mages can be free. Cassandra is far less interested in freeing them 🐠and maintains the status quo.

7 Cassandra: Has An E💟mphasis On Transparency

Cassandra in Haven.

Cassandra learns a lot from her personal questline in Inquisition. She finds out the dark secrets of the Seekers and ends up believing they should h🐓ave been transparent with everyone.

♌As Divine, Cassandra will not keep as many secrets as Leliana. Leliana is a strong believer in working from the shadows and withholding information from others. Cassandra is the opposite. She will tell the people of Thedas everything because she believes they deserve the truth.

6 Leliana: Has A Stronger Interest 🍸In Politics And Diplomacy ♛

Close-up of Leliana's face.

Leliana is very interested in becoming the next Divine. She is skilled at the Game of Orlais as well. Cassandra is far less passionate and is known to be not good at socializing with people. In fact, Cassandra hates 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the politics of Thedas and prefers solving problems with a blade.

Due to Leliana's social prowess and actual🦩 de🐻sire to be Divine, she may do a much better job.

5 ⛦ Cassandra:𒈔 Seeker Training Provides Unique Perspective

Cassandra's Face.

Cassandra's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Seeker training has basically given her superpowers, and some of them would be excellent for a Divine. The biggest one is that she can not be mind-controlled with blood magic or possessed. Also, Seeker♐s resist the effects of red Lyrium.

While it is unlikely that someone will attempt to mind control or possess the Divine, but what if that did happen? If Cassandra was Divine, no💖 one has to worry abo🅷ut that possibility.

4 Leliana: Creates Fast And Effective Change ꦅ

Not only is Leliana progressive, she is effective. She will not give anyone who oppo🏅ses her a chance. Cassandra's stability, while gꦯood for Thedas, will not make effective change for a long time.

Leliana is not afraid to force change to happen, no matter who in Thedas is not ready. The anti-Elf, anti-mage, anti-Dwarf, and anti-Qunari indiv🌱iduals of the Chantry will be dealt with using violence if necessary.

3 Cassandra: Wants Unity And Will Work Toward It 🅰

Leliana forcing change fractures Thedas more. Those that oppose her wil✱l become more radicalized from her harsh enforcement. Cassandra will not do that if she is Divine. She wants a unified Thedas.

Cassandra recognizes those that believe in the Maker, but avoid the Cha💃ntry (like Varric). She wants the Chantry to be inviting for all and sees Leliana's desire to force change to only cause more bloodshed.

2 Leliana: Spy Training Keeps Her Safe And Informed ꦬ

Leliana talking to Josephine.

Leliana may not be as transparent as Cassandra, but that has its advantages. She is not going to be assassinated, taken advantage of, or tricked anytime soon. Her work as a spy and bard has t🐟aught her everything about poisons, subterfuge, and manipulation.

Wi🐼th these skills, a Divine can be untouchable by ene🔯mies.

1 Cassandra: Has A Sense Of Duty Instead Of Ambition 🔴

Cassandra talking to the Inquisitor on steps.

Ambition has a dark side and can blind someon꧙e to the troubles of others🌟. Leliana is quite ambitious, and it might make her dangerous to Thedas.

Cassandra is not ambitious. She does not set her sights on being the Divine for anything other than it a duty that must be done. She does not have any ulterior motive for changing Thedas to her liking. She sees it as a role that must be done for the good of the people. She will serve the people, notಌ an agenda.
